Tim Davies and a colleague show how AI can fix bad client briefs. They use a RAG system to analyze incoming briefs, reformat them consistently, and send them back for feedback, turning a chronic problem into a solvable one.
One of the biggest problems that you get in the advertising industry is the quality of brief that comes in from a client to their agency. So we used to run briefing workshops with clients we still do from time to time to get their people better at writing a brief.
But when.
A lot of the AI technologies came around.
It'S like, well, we.
Can do something here.
So you've augmented the brief based on the information that exists within the knowledge base already. So you've got a rag database sitting behind the scenes that's absorbing all of the information that's been shared in. They're then putting in their brief. It's being analyzed, it's being checked against specific things. You're reframing it back into a consistent brief format, sharing that back with the customer and getting their, their feedback on it. Yeah, you're encouraging them to produce a higher quality brief by actually doing some of that work for them.
