A short monologue discussing how modern software/product development has become much faster, enabling rapid prototyping, quick proofs of concept (POC), and expedited progression to minimum viable products (MVPs). The speaker contrasts traditional 'fail fast' agile practices with today's accelerated ability to spin up and discard POCs, reducing attachment to long-term visions and shortening iteration cycles.

One. One of the points I was trying to make to them was there's the ability to build things now is so much easier and quicker than it used to be. And I think there's a tolerance to, I don't want to say higher levels of failure, but because you can build things that bit quicker, you can get a POC out really, really quickly. Didn't work. Throw it away. You know, that's always kind of been the root in agile development, you know, fail fast and all that kind of stuff. But the rate followed that well and now it's on steroids. It's so much quicker. Yeah, because I think people know you wanted to fail fast, but you still had that view of what it could be in six months and people latched onto that because you've got that mental ownership of that idea that you had. Whereas now you can spin something up so quick, run it through a poc. Is it working? Yes or no. And then, okay, yeah, POC signed off. Let's move that to an mvp.
