Short excerpt from a YouTube interview (recorded March 2025) with Tim Davies discussing the importance of feedback in leadership. In this exchange Tim describes shifting from a know-it-all stance to a humility-based approach: he actively seeks input from coaches, customers, trusted allies and networks (specifically naming BNI Mastermind) to strengthen his business and leadership while balancing that input with his vision for "Project Rising."

How do you remain open to feedback while staying true to your vision for Project Rising?
I think it's really easy. I don't really know anything about anything, and so I pick up little bits and see how I can use them. Within the business. We take feedback from coaches, we participate in networks like BNI Mastermind, and that input that we get from trusted allies, customers, networking coaches makes us stronger as a business and helps me be a better leader. So feedback's good. I didn't used to think so. I used to be completely the opposite way and think I know it all, but actually I know basically nothing and it's best to work with everybody else.
Do you know? That's just what I was going to say. It's better to be open to feedback as a leader of a company, isn't it, than to just think you know everything.
