Short monologue (single speaker) reflecting that modern AI feels like an early-stage Internet (a links-based, text-first phase), noting that the speaker has shifted toward voice input because of tendonitis and finds voice interaction liberating, especially when away from a computer.
You know, in Internet equivalent. We're in probably 1992, you know. Yeah. We haven't even got the holding signs for the robot. Nse nfcsa. What was it? Ns ncsa. Mosaic hasn't even been unveiled yet. We're still using links. You know, people are still basically, fundamentally, you could chat. GPT, that's basically links browser without the green screen. That's how it feels to me. And, you know, it's all text. I'm just starting to get into voice, so I've hurt my left hand, so I can't type as much. I've got a bit of tendonitis, probably from typing too much. And so all of a sudden I'm having to push into voice. And it's actually really liberating. Of course. Why would I type? I mean, how archaic. And especially when you're not at the computer.
