Everyone's doing all this now. That's what's truly bizarre about the current situation. We are seeing American brains tarnished, American businesses harm, American stakeholders hurt in their pocketbook because of government policies, big government policies, socialist policies coming out of Washington D.C. starting to have an impact now. Let's be clear. Is the cashier recession yet? No, don't listen to me. Don't listen to something on YouTube, social media or TikTok. Don't listen to politicians. But you do need to listen to publicly traded corporate regions, their industrial relations department, their cfo. When we cloud warnings, when they put up revenue warnings they're saying hey we're warning. You're going to see our own, you're going to see our data. But by law you have to say that or you're in violation of the QD Exchange Commission so that you cannot ignore partisan spin on CNN and Fox News Channel. They're even spin on cnbc. But when it comes to major public traditional corporate agents telling their investors or profits because our own customers around the world are telling us they are sick as tired of the air in mind can they associate with bullying and nauseousness. You really can't like it but you can't ignore it as a credible source and that's really what's going on here in this story. Let's set a few more facts here. Arizona straight faces the poison of America's round world. Companies, entrepreneurs, individuals failing businesses around the world are being destroyed overnight because of the whimsical capricious tariffs that they corporate loans breaking the collateral damage in America's trade wars. McDonald's rewards an 8 to 10 point rise in anti American sentiment in Europe and Canada. Delegates from American McDonald and McDonald's pretty high everywhere personally worked in more than 45 countries. I don't care. People do. Le is listing anti American as a key financial risk in his most recent SEC findings Jack Daniels sales down 62% in Canada so yes Afghan didn't think it was cute. Our dear leader said let's make Canada the first state take their sovereign seriously who know beyond me Born lost revenue backlash and the federal courts ruled that many were illegally postpartum place because the Supreme Court gets following Supreme Court United States they basically bend over to the president do whatever you want everyone that feels good and we're just going to sit here and say thank you. That's the state of the current Supreme Court which in many instances is no better than attorney hired at a local county courthouse in New York City where someone has been through behind our bills and ambulance stations who signing on tonight and that claimed how large and important that states is perceived I by most lawful verbs no longer justices. They are wackies. Thank you for spending time with me. It's beautiful Sunday morning here in South Florida. As soon as I finish the show I'm headed out to Hope you have a great Sunday morning. Nice here with me again. The press of the older sounds here shows that sometimes give good information but often are too rigid and stories to look at how we approach this. If you're in this show, let me give a little background what I'm doing here. Every day Saturday we add the top stories of the day then filter it through the lens of communication skills, personal development skills, all with all helping you become more successful. So the lesson here is you've always got to look at intentions of consequence no matter what you do. If you're saying I want to be tough on people and raise terrorists, you have to ask yourself is this really going to hurt by people over here in the long run? Even more. I'm wondering constantly about how unfair the world is. Do I have enough stuff where it's maybe the world is unfair in my favor. If the world is so unfair against Americans, then why are millions of people want to move to America? And that's the odd thing that so many of these people are so anti immigrant. These themselves they're holding to every country. The whole world is so against this unfair poor America and being unfair products and giving us unfair taxes. And London on the other hand, it's so great here. Everyone wants to move here the worst place in the world, right? Obviously that's not the case of every single day we see the United States want to move here because all have been evil. But now with saying what happened in the last eight months this is still the time marginally the best or one of the best countries to come. Start a career, start a business, reexander capital, try to be successful. How should we behave? I don't know. But that's why he won't come here because apparently it is easier. There is more opportunity than old democracies or countries that have just gotten out of age shift or theocracy or minority. We do, yeah. It's a reason of similar opportunity. People like dumb here. We should protect and preserve what we have. Not put up more robots, more walls keying out the very people who made this country creative more. We'll be back after these commercial birds. Issue 2 the 1 whole 7 billion dollar jackpot an Erica's lottery edition 2 Wing tickets from Missouri at 1 Texas slit the $1.78 billion jackpot is the second largest in US history according to billion dollar dads have become so changes to powerball and millions raise ticket prices and sweetie odds con mentality is a supreme truth. Lotteries are funded by those who can least afford parents and $100 billion a year all lottery tickets more than music and schooling vests combined. For many low income households lottery spending is striking. Families making less than 30,000 a year spend around $400 annually on tickets roughly 1 to 2 income. For some it's equivalent of a month's worth of groceries as high as you play a role Media saturation fuels recency bites. People overestimate their odds at hearing about Hunter. Okay, let's get to what's really significant. What's the real message here? Every day we see more headlines about lottery Big lottery winnings billion dollars. There's going to be trillions of dollars. It's all a scam to take me out of your pocket. Sorry, only stupid people play the lottery. Save your own money. Invest in something where you're guaranteed to win yourself for a real comedy with Will Sock. Yes, let's go deeper. This is an issue that irks me and it's the cut speaker issue. Anyway, people love to talk about how negative the media is. Negative media? That's not the case because media New York Times which is supposedly all the time is a front page story about these two wing tickets. People wing billion dollar powerballs so they leave the spotlight on where they go to a story on the millions of people who lost their kids and shun that's bias media has on one story about when her life has changed. Although it's been studied. Before but still it is storage. One person working a gas station $1 million and now all these good things happen. They buy everything. The paradox generator is over. Like that. You cannot knock on the door of every single person in the community who spent two hours or five hours or $25 and spent their Kids milk money buying a lottery ticket it's not possible to write a story like that so it doesn't get written because the avenue to dish doesn't get anywhere we don't think about it kind of the same way some people we got to careful sharks sharks you know people are killed by far from a mosquito ever killed from a shark more people killed from pigs and sharks but we see it on tv we hear about it, we died about it and that's very the 1.2 million people die a car crash so as a human species we worry about the long thing leads this risk of faulty ways and so happily it's not risky to spend money on lives let's look at the statistics because according to some research med family $400 annually 1 2% of their income you look at that over 20 years of lifespan of churning home $98,000 invested early in the hundred thousand dollars retirement retirement and living in poverty perhaps homelessness no but I am saying why do other people play you might be the easy mark and that's what you are if you play lottery and for that matter provide any gamble any say you're an easy mark you're a sucker you might as well walk around with a giant T shirt that says I'm soccer willing to give you my money for nothing in return. So that's why I went to God today and kiss Sar seems like harmless fun and. Entertainment Buy a book, read a book give the vote to someone give hours of actual joy intellectual enrichment instead of buying ticket scratching off or waiting for that number to be called out. Everybody forgets to talk about that so it's a human yes but also if we like to focus on the winning we like to focus on that one so and then incremental dripping out but the weaving ourselves drive our wallet of our net worth that doesn't cover a Couple other facts $100 billion spent on lotteries it's big to even visualize it's huge it's seen and I'm proud to save all day I waste money in my life all the dumb business idea I had seven different media shows and websites believe me I have plenty of experience doing dumb things my vision when you guys Let me tell you whose vision it is it's the six flame bowel tissues that I get paid for these sticky school and I don't want to pay taxes and I don't want to get my rich contributors I get bad at pay taxes I want to hand to some rich contributors and tell them hey we'll cut you taxes. I'm going to stick it to the whole soup and we're just going to tell them that they should wait for that pot to go earn the spot. So that's who you're supporting. You're supporting cynical politicians. That's why in the last 40 years we've seen safe oh no, no, we're not going to moderate immoral. That's kingdom like a lot of states with religious right leaders and some with democratic who care about poor people. That's what happens shape and narrow and the result is we taxed wealthier people like me a lot less and which has purple called tax. Oh it's not a tax, it's not income tax. It's just we're going to put ads on the local sports shows, mobile news shows bombarding you remind you you get bigger. That's what happens. So. Get excited. Oh wow. The biggest jackpot ever was $2.04 billion in California. Ours in California is just as bad, worse than all these other states. They're doing it. As Jackson and neospracticles and tourist desperately are going into other states to get these lottery tickets. It is frankly a bit of shame and it's a bit of a shame. What are the certes of the lottery that you played? I'm not sure you answered in the question Simon though please feel free to write in a gift by the way, if you're listening to the shiny podcasting members, thank you. This is a brand new podcast, episode seven of our podcast. Glad you're here and you're watching me on YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitch and on TikTok. Thanks for joining us live. We are real on man every day is superficial seems unser you can do so he's saying rectangle, triangle, circle are the only options. Poke line is sinker surety guarantee not a stilt. And perhaps that might numbers but I don't really know. Look at all of this lottery stuff. Thank you. Nonsense and poison and an excuse to not try. Theoretically value in the world. It's asking something for value. Corporate welfare queen Elon Musk he spent so many billions of dollars federal subsidies and tax benefits. So I'm not suggesting in any way that poor people always nonetheless are uniquely looking for some hand at grift but I do think it's part of this mentality where somebody said I deserve something for it. Now you do not deserve to win the lottery which deserves an opportunity to use your talents, get some kind of medication to create a product or service, put in an art blessed and compensate for whether you work for a company, government, your own company. Shut up. That is what you deserve in U.S. lottery. I know it really is not what you're talking about. We come back and talk about a related subject to this in just one moment and it relates to, unfortunately, some sad news about the state of young people in America. Hey, if you're enjoying this time, if you want to hear more stories filtered through the lens of communication, make sure you're following the show whether you're watching or listening. New Assets Every single day there's a little notification I'll show you on. Go ahead and turn it on. It helps you stay loot okay, we are back in issue three Take on Filter Young people have unhappiest generation for decades Psychologists live happiness follow a U shape People started relatively content and then rebound in an older age. But new research overturns that idea. According to One study in PLF1, analyzing 1.7 billion people across 4400 young adults are now the most distressed group while older adults report better mental health. In the United States, the spirit only 125 is more than double, rising from 2.9% in 1993 to rise 8% in recent years. That's a huge jump among young women are shifting from 3.6% in 1893 to 9.3% today. That's just true. Researchers cite smartphones, social media drivers and mental health care. David Bushfow Darth Vowel Dead One of those consistent, striking, persistent patterns in social science has now completely disappeared. The result? Reversal of expectations. Happiness now rises at the collapses for the okay, we're going to make this what's the real message here where young people just say that around the world are now some of the unhappiest people in the entire world. People get attacked for being lazy and old handed and being dazed. Part of the problem is baby boomers. We take all goodies for ourselves we to feed religious education for ourselves. We took really inexpensive housing for ourselves, took the best opportunities for ourselves, took clean air and good terr for ourselves. One of the young people with lots of debt, government debt lot of astronomy advises housing and and race job not this that's part of buyers outrun. Let's still look deeper here. It's always strict to generalize by age. These are some free sound research findings. Again we've done a massive survey of four nations and it wasn't a minor minor statistical blip. It was pretty significant. But the theories is people spending so much time sharing on their phone. I'VE got my thumb right here where I broadcasting.TikTok but when you are on Instagram and when you're on all these social media feeds, everything seems better in your own life. Everyone seems more glamorous, everyone seems more beautiful, everyone seems like you're in more exciting locale, everyone has a nicer talk, a prettier boyfriend, girlfriend, sass than you. Everyone should earn a better occasion than what you have. And there's a theory it's just knowing me impressing people and making them feel like wow, model age is insignificant I can't measure up I just described as a friend a friend of mine have a Ferrari Ferrari and I can't afford a spare much less that's what the thinking is. I think there's something to these human beings by nature compared to others and we live in a tribe of 150 people. Maybe one person has three more cows than you do and you only have one cow you want five nights after each but there isn't that much now you live in a world where you're looking right successful and making money. You literally spend eight hours a day looking at people who are thousand times better looking than you have more money than you most stuff than you could turn and once you get down that track of looking it's hard to turn back. It's hard not to feel that in me it's human nature. Look, I'm not hurting better than anyone else. What I try to do is really limit my consumption. The case of them actively looking for so to present from my newscast but I met myself 15 minutes a day of social media consumption I spend the rest of my time doing things like reading an actual real book going for a walk for an hour is that any better than you now? Does it mean I have a better moral character than you now a sleep decision I made is that self probably what's best for me and it was best for me and I would urge you if you can check the stat on your phone have slightly send me on social media because it could be contributor to stress and depression system race immunity is dangerous 70% between 2008 and 2020 oils rose 20082020 smartphone gaming 2007 by 2010is when the Massachusetts race really hit Antidepressant use has surged so I don't hear the depresses are bad but if you think about one thing a lot of click 11 showing this and if you just do physical exercise severe physical exercise it's as easy I'm not telling you not to a Lot of these days are linked to kids in play. With a 10 years old playing that dirt or 15 year old, a lot less physical activity, a lot easier to get. Whereas put your phone down, go out for a walk. I'm a part of the problem because I'm creating. I do want you to watch it. The whole purpose of this show is to empower you. I'm holding. I look at the news with communication skills, personal development skills. It's actually empowering you to become more successful, happier in your life, not depressed. Because one of the things that is consistent among old people, very old people who are happy is the thought that wow, I'm going to have better head when I was young because you're better out, you only sleep better, your health usually better, you look a lot better. And when I look at my face today versus when another guy at 40 radioactive. And most young people they may not risk the most. What people my generation colleges is horrific. I went to college, it was expensive. I total all fees for 7,500 years for quality education. And I graduated with 10,000 in debt. So I had to pay I guess $285 a month for 10 years. It was pretty minimal. But when I look at somebody get six figure debt quarter million out of debt, how would you not be pressed? It doesn't have to be that way. Universities would make their courses much more in part I think the languages One more elephant about this that come into that like the NYU professor who points out that the large jails prisons of the world are no longer no longer deserve to be called nonprofit excuse higher education library rights. They're basically Hessians that also teach a few classes. And what they really are doing is expanding their freshman class to 100,000 students a year and reducing prices. And that would help on the rest of the education system because it's an ugly scene right now where colleges have simply borrowed the tactics of Louisian Zone. We just charge higher prices and the people are more perceived more selective which allow us to charge higher prices again and again and again. That's happened in shade and yeah, a lot of university business three, $4 million a year. And my administrators.
