TJ Walker describes why he continues producing daily videos on habits: the primary benefit is personal — daily creation forces deep, sustained learning and shapes his thinking and reading. He argues that creating every day yields tremendous internal value (better understanding, ideas, and habits) even without a huge audience.

I was asked the other day if I'm going to continue doing daily videos, even if I don't have a huge audience of billions. And the truth is, sure, I'd love to have billions of people watching. But that's not the real value I get from doing videos. It's not about reaching a huge audience. It is. As much as I like to help you and think about you, it is about me in that I benefit by doing a daily video on habits. It's virtually impossible to produce a video, speak, or write about a topic every single day without really getting a deep, thorough grounding in the subject. Because I produce a video every day on habits, it completely shapes what I read, how I think, what is going on in my brain, what I sleep on at night, as far as ideas spinning around. So there's tremendous value in creating daily even if you don't have a big audience.
