Are you making yourself smarter or dumber on a daily basis? Look, everybody consumes some news, and in these ideological times, it's very easy to find a news source that only tells you what you want to hear. This says your team is the good guys, the good gals, the other team. They're bad at everything. You're not an intelligent person, you're not a knowledgeable person unless you actively seek out news sources that give you a variety of opinions and give you criticism of your team. Whatever your team is now, you can disregard news sources that blatantly lie and have no respect for facts. But if you try, I guarantee you you can find people who respect facts who have different views than yours. Seek them out daily. Follow the TJ Walker habit.
