Hi, Jackie Michael here for the speaking channel. It's the Sex in the City movie premiere. The moment that New York has been waiting for for months and months since its popular series ended. And we're here at the red carpet, pink carpet, waiting for the girls to come out to ask them a couple of questions.
Just maturity, just, you know, growing up and wanting different things and looking for meaning and how do you pursue love at 40 versus 20 and hopefully just being smarter.
How did I choose? It was very hard. But I had had Sex in the City in the mind and I'm like, what kind of fashion is it gonna be on the Sex and the City red carpet? Because in the show, it looks like a fashion show.
The crowds were cheering on Tuesday night as the stars came out for the Sex and the City movie premiere at Radio City Music Hall. This was a big night for New Yorkers and stars alike as everyone gathered to celebrate the long awaited premiere last. It was a bittersweet moment for the actors who got to work together after four years apart since the series ended.
So how excited are you to be here?
I'm very excited. People are a little crazy and going on and on, but it's all good.
And to join the cast again, how amazing was that?
It was a lot of fun. I mean, I got to see Ann Mera, I got to see Magda and the girls.
Do you have a favorite character? I like to say that I feel I have a little bit of all of them in me. I think it's probably why women like it so much. And you, you have a new song and album coming up, don't you?
Yes, my re release came out today actually and it has labels or love on it. The song from the Sex and the City movie. And I'm thrilled. Cause it's a little more dancey, you know, than I. Than I've normally done. So for me it was, it was a fun thing. It was perfect for the movie. The subject matter is perfect. It's all about fashion.

Quick question. You and your husband are so involved in New York City. How does this feel for it to be such a big deal for the city?
I think it's great. Was shot here. The movie, the series. It gives amazing energy to the city and it's a special fashion and everything involving the series.
You're a fan?
I am.
I think it's terrific. Favorite character, all of them together as a chemistry.
Do you feel like the movie answers questions for the fans that the series didn't.
The movie gives the fans everything they've been asking for and more.
So whether you are a man or a woman, no doubt you'll be able to take something away from this long awaited movie. Whichever character is your favorite, have no fear because they have finally returned.

I don't know if Carrie's heroic specifically. I think that she's just a human, flawed, interesting, curious, likable good friend.
