TJ Walker says don't give unsolicited criticism unless someone asks for it and will actually use it. Offering unrequested feedback alienates people and makes everyone more miserable. Make it a habit to keep quiet.

Let me ask you did you ask me to come to your house, pick apart everything wrong I see with it, or to your business to tell you everything you're doing wrong? No. And you know what? I'm not going to do that. But let that be a lesson for you. When you see other people's mistakes, don't dwell on it. Don't comment on it unless you have been specifically asked and you know they really value your opinion and might do something about it. They may just be fishing for compliments. I don't want you to lie to people, but don't make yourself more miserable. Alienate people and make other people miserable by giving unsolicited advice. Follow the TJ Walker habit.
