Mastering Facilitation Techniques for Success

TJ Walker explains that effective facilitators don't need to be subject experts. Ask smart questions, then get out of the way and let the experts talk.
Can you be a great facilitator if you're facilitating on a subject where you're not an expert? The answer is yes. As the facilitator, you're not the one giving a big speech. What you have to do is ask focused, intelligent questions and then step back, close your mouth, let other people in the room speak, whether it's other panelists, other experts, or members of the group.
