This is a YouTube video titled "Project Confidence: Unlock Leadership with Nonverbal Cues" created in July 2025. The content features a single speaker providing advice on how to project confidence and leadership through body language and nonverbal cues in various settings such as meetings, presentations, and webinars.
If you want to look like a leader, anytime you show up, it's important to really not just smile. That's the starting point. But look like there's no place else you would rather be. A lot of people destroy the perception of confidence because they look nervous, they look uncomfortable, they look like, I can't wait to get out of here. That could be by being hunched over, eyes darting, looking around for an exit, licking lips. There's all sorts of nervous things you can do, and simply by having a little smile on your face, looking around, no quick eye movement, and scanning around for danger, just looking like you're happy to be here, whether it's a meeting room, whether it's on a stage, giving a presentation, whether it's online, having a meeting, or doing a webinar. Look like you're happy to be here. Look like there's no place else in the world you'd rather be because you're a leader and this is important, and you're ready to get people to focus on important things.
