One of the biggest problems many people have when they start a new self improvement kick is they try to start too many habits that they just don't like and it creates too many roadblocks. They see what all the gurus say, wake up an hour early, go to the gym, eat eggs, don't have any sugary breakfast. All perfectly good advice but then they start to do it. They hate getting up early, they hate going to the gym, hate driving to the gym, they love sugar and hate cutting out all sugar from their morning diet. So you're trying to force yourself to do four things you hate doing. Far better to be a little more creative and look for habits you could enjoy. If you want more exercise, maybe you go for a walk in the afternoon, still get as much sleep as you need. If you like sugar, eat blueberries for breakfast and that solves the problem. Look for habits that are easy and fun to do.
