TJ Walker argues that 38% of Stanford students claim disability, far higher than the general population, suggesting elite colleges are biased toward accepting disability claims and creating incentives to game accommodations. He acknowledges some disabilities are real but says institutions need stricter standards.

When 38% of all students at Stanford, one of the hardest schools in the entire universe to get into, claim they're disabled. Something's off, something's wrong. Someone is gaming the system, and something needs to be changed. Now, I don't want to be cavalier here. Certainly there are people who have legitimate problems, and it's not up to me to diagnose your problems. Legitimate. Yours isn't. But the schools do have to do that, and right now it seems to be a bias in favor. Anybody who says they have any problem with, we don't want to seem insensitive, so we'll just assume you're correct. The problem with that is it incentivizes gaming the system.
