Short excerpt from a TJ Walker live-stream on leadership communication. Walker argues that strong leaders use forceful, direct language (even if it offends) to clearly state their stance and mobilize people, illustrating the point with a quoted passage from Winston Churchill that vividly condemns Nazi tyranny.

Leaders use strong, forceful language. If they're trying to make a strong point, they don't sugarcoat. They use direct language, even if it hurts people's feelings.
You are actually the vanguard of the armies which we and our French allies will use during this summer to purge and cleanse the soil of the Vikings, the soil of Norway, from the filthy pollution of Nazi tyranny.
Churchill lets you know exactly where he stands, what he thinks of his enemies. That inspires the troops. Strong leaders do that. They're not afraid to really carefully, vividly describe their enemies and why people should be mobilized against them.
