Welcome to the Public Speaking Tip of the Week. This is a brand new podcast. You're listening to this on itunes, Stitcher, or watching this on YouTube, Facebook video or a number of other venues. This is a very, very simple focus show. It's just one specific public speaking tip every single week. It's short, it's simple, and it is focused. There's no glitz, there's no glamour to the show. A little background. I've been doing presentation Dr. Training for 32 years. My name is TJ Walker. I've trained everyone from presidents of countries, prime ministers, Nobel Peace Prize winners, Ms. Universes on how to speak more effectively. And I'm going to be sharing with you some of those very same tips. All of my clients, no matter who they are, what industry they're in, whether they're 80 years old or 16 years old, they all really want the same thing. How to come across comfortable, confident, relaxed anytime you speak. How to make sure their audience understands them. How to make sure the audience remembers the messages you're talking about. And then the fourth goal, how to get people to take the actions you want. Those are really the goals I find of all speakers, regardless of industry, and I'll be giving you a lot of tips to help you in that regard. Now, if you have very specific questions you'd like me to address, I'll be addressing those in my flagship show, which is speaking with TJ Walker. You can find that on YouTube or Google as well. And I will answer any specific question you have. This show is very, very targeted and focused on fundamental tips I believe will help anyone. So feel free to reach out to me, give me feedback or suggestions.
