Hard to tell through the glass here, but I am in Salt Lake City. Absolutely gorgeous mountains here, covered with snow. Haven't been here in a few years. Forgot how beautiful it was. So, public speaking tip of the day these days. Yeah, you can fly anywhere and you can zip in and zip out. But with problems with airlines, with weather patterns, you never really know how long it's going to take you to get anywhere. That's why I recommend it's an important speech training. Any presentation, give yourself plenty of time. I'm scheduled to start a speech and a training Tomorrow morning at 9am in Eugene, Oregon. Bend, Oregon. I'm in Salt Lake City right now. I'm going to get to Oregon around noon today because I don't want to play it too close. If I miss a plane, a connection, either is bad weather. Next thing you know I'm in an airport sleeping at 3am or trying to sleep and thinking about renting a car and driving overnight to get somewhere. I don't want to do that. That's why I give myself plenty of time in advance. Try to get to a venue almost 24 hours in advance. That way you have plenty of cushion. So when the speech starts, the presentation starts, I can be relaxed. So can the organizer. That's the public speaking tip of the day. Don't take the last flight in to any venue.
