Are you looking for American Media Training or an American Style media trainer? Hi, I'm TJ Walker, President of Media Training Worldwide and I'm based right here in New York City, the media capital of the world. At least in the English speaking world. I've been training executives from six continents for more than 30 years now. I've also been in the news media. I've been on basically every major English speaking network, whether it is cnn, Bloomberg, cnbc, msn, Fox, you name it. So I do think I know a little about the news media. Plus I've trained more than 10,000 executives over the last three decades to face American style media. Now I also teach people on how to speak to any media anywhere in the world. But if you found this video, chances are you were googling for American Media Training or American Media Trainer or American Style Media training. I don't know that our style is that much different from great trainers around the world. But I do know that we teach people four very specific skills. The first, how to look comfortable, confident, relaxed anytime you're in front of the news media. The second skill, how to shape a media message. How to go from a complex subject into a simple, easy to understand three part message. The third skill, how to answer questions. And the fourth skill, the most important skill, how to package your messages with sound bites so you know in advance of the interview what quotes are going to get in that final TV broadcast, radio, broadcast news report on that website or even old fashioned newspaper. So we're big believers that you should go into every single interview with an attitude of here's my message, here's what I want to see in the story and to have a particular strategy of getting it into the story.
