Are you ready for some private public speaking training? Because that's the best way to improve quickly. Bring your group to us or we come to you. We train people in executives, organizations all over the world, or they can come to us at our New York training facility and we can help you get better quickly. For all of your speeches and presentations, think of the benefits to your career, to your business, your organization. If every time you stood up, you left a positive impression that people understood you, they liked you, they remembered the message you're talking about, that's what we can help you do. And you can actually get people to take the actions you want, whether it's hiring you, buying more of your services, buying your product, investing in you, whatever it is. When you're speaking, unless you're a stand up comedian, chances are you're speaking because you want somebody to do something for you. Well, if you learn the tricks, if you practice, if you work with us, you will know how to be an excellent speaker. That's what we train people to do. And this is going to help you. It's going to help you make more money. It's going to help you talk to your own employees better. It's going to help you with every aspect of what your mission is in life. Because unless you're on an island, unless you're a hermit, and you never have to talk to anyone, you've got to talk to people. You've got to get them to understand what you're talking about and to remember it. That's what we do in our private public speaking training courses, our private presentation training courses. Can we come to you very personalized. It's not off the rack, it's not, well, from 9:15 to 9:25 we're going to follow such and such. No, no. This is specific to you and what your needs are. If you use PowerPoint, believe me, we're going to spend a lot of time on PowerPoint, because chances are your PowerPoint is lousy and it bores people. You're probably bored by your PowerPoint. We're going to coach you how not to throw the PowerPoint away, but how to make it interesting, compelling, how it can work with you, not against you when you're giving a presentation. Now, if you don't use PowerPoint, you don't want to, that's okay. We won't spend any time on PowerPoint. Now we work with people of every skill level. We work with people who've never given a presentation in their life and we work with professional public speakers who are already being paid small fortunes to speak and they want to get to the point where they're paid large fortunes. So we work with people at every skill level. So what's different about our approach when we're working with organizations in a private capacity? Again, no one else from other organizations will be there. This is just for you, your people in your organization. So we're all on the same page here. You're not going to have to be stuck next to someone from a completely different industry or a competitor. What's different is what I found in doing this for more than 20 years is nobody learns how to do anything important for their career in one day. You didn't learn how to write in one day in school. You didn't learn how to do math in one day. So you're not really going to learn how to give a great speech in one day. But there are a lot of other things we can do to enhance the value of that one day. So that's why we've created so many pre training materials for you. Books to read, audios to listen to, DVDs, CDs, software. The more you put into this, the more you get out. It's really that simple. It's not that different from anything else in life. What we have done at Media Training Worldwide is come up with a whole system of tools, a whole method that will reduce the amount of time you have to spend on this. We'll help you get further faster than anyone else. That is our promise to you. That's a part of what's different about us now. What are we really going to cover? How do you prepare for a speech? How do you really come up with your ideas? If you do like most people, you just sort of sit down in front of the computer and type up every single fact you could think of about what you've done in your division for the last three months or six months. And then you email that around to your colleagues and they say, hey, you forgot these 10 things. And then you send it to Jane and she wants to be helpful and she says, hey, you forgot these 22 items. And then you send it to Jim and he adds five more items. And then you cut and paste, you put it all together into a PowerPoint and you've got 57 slides with 22 bullet points on each slide. This is death. This is boring. That's not a speech. We're going to give you some very specific techniques on how to prepare your speech, how to make it memorable, how to create stories. I don't mean Funny stories. I mean, real life case studies involving your own clients, customers and colleagues to make your speech more interesting and memorable. You know the biggest problem most people have when they're giving a speech, it's not that their knees are shaking together or there's so much nervous sweat coming down their forehead. Oh, sure, that happens. And it happens in the movies. It happens in real life, too. But the biggest problem most speakers have is nobody remembers anything they have to say. So that's gonna be the number one thing we'll work on, is how do you make what it is you have to say memorable? Because if no one remembers what you said in your presentation, what have you accomplished? Absolutely nothing. That's what you've accomplished. So here are some of the skills we're going to cover in our time together. You're going to learn exactly how to be more memorable, how to deliver your speech so that nobody thinks you're scared, nervous, bored. So that no one thinks that you're worried about how the speech is going. They're going to think that you are totally comfortable and confident. So what's the speech training process? Is it that you get five or six of your executives in a room and you give them pad and pencil and they sort of sit back and listen to, oh, tj, the great one, give a lecture all day? No, that would be boring. And I'm a pretty good speaker, if I do say so myself. But that's not how people learn. In this training session, you're going to stand up and speak, and you're going to do it a bunch of times, and you're going to be videotaped. All of your people are going to have the chance to speak not once, not twice, not three times, but probably at least four times. And it's going to be videotaped. That's how you learn to be a better speaker, by speaking. You don't learn how to be a better baseball player by reading a book or watching a video on playing baseball. It couldn't hurt, but you really learn by doing. Same with playing the piano. You can read all you want, but at some point you gotta take your gloves off, start playing piano if you want to get better. Same with speaking. In this training session. In this training workshop, your team is going to have to do a lot of speaking. So if people think they can just sort of come in late, sit in the back and learn something, well, they might be entertained, they might think they've learned something, but they won't. You learn by doing. Our goal is not that people leave this training workshop thinking, oh, that was interesting. Oh, that was fun. Oh, that tj, he was a great speaker. That's not the goal. That's a complete waste of time if that happens. The goal is when your people leave this workshop, they've seen their role model for a great speaker and the role model is themselves. They've seen it all on video. They not only have an intellectual understanding of how to give a great presentation, but it's now in their bones. It's in their muscle memory. That's what people will get from the private Media Training Worldwide workshop. How long does this last? Well, you do it the right way, it'll last the rest of your career. But at the end of the training, we don't just say, well, nice to be with you. Thanks a lot, see you later. No, no, we give you tremendous follow up. Any executive we train, we want that executive to send us video of their next speech. No backsliding allowed. We don't want old habits to creep in and we'll give them a critique. We'll also send every member of your team quarterly assessments, new videos online once a month. It's all paid for as a part of the day cost. Weekly newsletters for follow up, even daily lessons, tutorials and columns to help them stay focused. So what's the next step? Go ahead, get out the calendar. Talk to the people who need to be trained. Let's pick a few dates, call us up. Let's get this on the calendar. I'm TJ Walker, Media Training Worldwide. We'd love to work with you, so call us now. 212-764-4955.
