Do you want to look supremely confident at the end of your presentation? So often people give a presentation, everything's going pretty well, and all of a sudden it's like, that's it, gotta go, or that's it. Any questions? And it's like a car that goes down the highway at 70 miles an hour just runs out of gas. You don't want to be like that. My recommendation, you don't have to end with some amazing story that brings tears to people's eyes. Just sum up your main point of what you want people to know and do. Stop, smile a little. Take a step back. Don't say anything. Don't do anything. Don't act like you're in a rush. Just stop a little bit of a smile for two seconds. Then you could say, happy to take questions or off you go. But don't act rushed. Don't act nervous. Don't act like you want to get away. Act like there's no place else in the world you'd rather be. Do that. And you're really going to leave, not just up here with your audience, but in the pit of their stomach. The sense that you are confident, commanding, and authoritative. I'm TJ Walker.
