Foreign. Welcome to the daily national and Media Training Insider. I'm Mike Baco. Justin Bieber certainly been in the news over the last week or so. Claims coming out that he fathered a baby of a 20 year old woman. She had the baby and now she is asking Bieber to take a paternity test. A lot of celebrities in his situation would not have been as aggressive as he has. Bieber has been coddled, handled, certainly has a lot of handlers and people pulling the strings behind him. But in this case, he's really done a great job of getting out in front of this story. Certainly anyone can make claims against another celebrity. But let's take a look at what Bieber did. Well, first of all, he went on the Today show. He had a scheduled appearance to go on there. But when he was on the Today show, he openly answered the questions. He didn't hide behind his lawyers, he didn't hide behind his agent, didn't. He didn't say he can't comment on things. He came right out in front and denied these charges. Second thing that he did, he went ahead and said, I'll take a paternity test. He obviously knows or thinks that he doesn't have anything to hide. So get out in front of this story. Those are the things that Bieber has done well. Those are the things that have really squashed some of the claims that this other woman has made. So let's review comment denial on the Today show and then actually going ahead and challenging this woman's claims and saying that, yes, I will take a paternity test. So he's not hiding behind his handlers, not hiding behind a carefully worded statement. He's actually getting out there, making his comments, speaking for himself, putting his face out in front of this message. Good job for Justin Bieber. For the daily national and Media Training Insider, I'm Mike Baco.
