A YouTube conversation (hosted by TJ Walker) offering practical coaching on how to become a public speaker and "find your stage." The excerpt discusses common barriers—uncertainty about where to speak, who will invite you, and rehearsed but unrealized speaking ambitions—and notes that many prominent communicators (e.g., Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran) do not primarily label themselves as "speakers."

Because a lot of times people will say, oh, I can speak on anything. And I'm like, no, not that you're not comfortable speaking spontaneously. That's a different the.
Most successful speakers in the world that I see, people like Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran, they don't call themselves speakers.
One of the things that I hear speakers or people who want to be speakers, get challenged with is I'm not sure where I should speak. I'm not sure who would allow me to be on stage, who would even have me speak. How do you do that? A lot of the times I, I work with people who secretly have been dreaming of being a speaker for quite some time. Maybe it's written in their mind or they've recited that this might be you. You've recited your talk, you've imagined yourself on stage, but it just hasn't actually happened yet.
