But don't lie to yourself. Don't live on ramen noodles for 15 years. Save $100,000, quit your job and tell yourself you're retired. Even though every second of the day you have to peel potatoes, clean all your own clothes, do every dish, never travel anywhere, and live on virtually nothing unless that truly gives you joy. If it gives you joy, then by all means, do it. But if you don't like doing that stuff, I got bad news for you. You're not retired. You're just in a really bad job that doesn't pay anything.
