Be careful of free. Yes, give freely to charities, causes, things you care about, to family and friends. But at some level, for the rest of the world, people don't value what is free. Say you're having a free concert, a free show, a free benefit. People might RSVP and 90% might not even show up. If you're creating something of value, charge something of value. People will appreciate it more. They will respect you more. They will consume your ideas, your creations. At a deeper level, don't sell yourself short. Free can be a tool at times, but it can't be your only tool. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
