A short motivational YouTube monologue by TJ Walker urging creators to learn the fundamentals of their craft before attempting to innovate. He cites a Banksy quip about artists suffering but not learning to draw, and issues the "TJ Walker habit": master fundamentals first, then break boundaries.

Chapters

Banksy once said, all artists are prepared to suffer for their work. But why are so few prepared to learn how to draw? Now he's being funny there, but it's a great point. Learn the fundamentals. Before you want to do the crazy thing, the wild thing, your own thing, learn the fundamentals of your craft. All great creative geniuses who break boundaries, first learn what the boundaries actually are. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
