No, this is not my summer cottage. I'm here at Oheka Castle. It's one of the grandest homes in all of North America. It's on the Gold coast in Long island, only about three miles away from where I live now. We live in an era when the aristocracy in the United States as well as in Europe is coming under attack. Yes, there are problems with sexism, racism, classism, but. But one of the things I do think the aristocracy got it right was the whole idea of taking play seriously. You may have a strong work ethic. That's great. But do you have a strong play ethic? If you really want to be a complete person, I believe it's important to not only work hard, but to use your playtime to do things that give you joy, really create fun for you.
