Welcome back to the end of our trilogy for the Memphis Throwback Thursday video series. Today, follow our characters as they bring in some new friends and say goodbye to old friends.
Good morning and thank you for joining us. Many of you know us as the brothers from the musical Memphis. Many of you have cheered us, and loved our show. Now many of the Broadway community, with good reason, are apprehensive about us.
Jackson! What? What's wrong with you, man? What do you mean, what's wrong with me? Man, how you kidnapping people, man? I shouldn't even be out here talking to you right now. What you talking about? Listen. Oh, is this a setup? No, it's not a setup. You got somebody coming? No, man, you know what that thing is? You know what that's gonna do? I got a job to do. I know, you see that man right there? Yeah. Got kids, got bills. I'm not gonna be doing this kind of thing forever. I'm getting older, man. I ain't old, I'm saying, but I ain't as old as you. Come on, messing with people's lives and their livelihood. Chris, brother, come on now, it's me. Oh, what up, Corbin? How you doing, dog? Hey, bro, how you doing? Hey, man, Jackson, man, come back.
Corbin ain't even here, man.
Why you take me off your Facebook anyway?
We just wanted to say that we didn't mean to freak frighten anyone.
Hey guys, take him! You guys, you guys are so funny! Come here, give me a hug! You guys, you guys are so funny! No, they're good!
We felt that maybe if we had a few of the stars of the Broadway community, Tony winners, to tell the public to come see our show, then Memphis would be alright.
Got anything to say, Lin? Go see Memphis!
Hi, please come see Memphis.
We just want to say that we are deeply, deeply sorry. We are so, so sorry.
In order to keep my pension, I begrudgingly apologize.
Sorry. Thank you for your time.
Who made him king of the world? Not me.
To all the people out there in Broadway world, I ain't never mean y'all no harm.
I'm just a big old—
I'm sorry. I hope you enjoyed yourself, and if you did, please like the video and subscribe. We're working hard to bring you more Throwback Thursday videos like these here on the screen.
