Listen, world, we have a song to sing, and listen up 'cause it's gonna be good. Each of us has our own special thing, and we deserve to be understood. And every one of us is kindness and peace.
We gotta get up and stand for what's right. No time to hesitate, we gotta move fast. We gotta break through and show you the way. Take a step, step forward, step forward, get out of that line. Take a step, step into the world where yours equals mine. Take a step, the hardest one is the first. Look around, grab a helping hand. For truth and justice, together we stand. We'll go far to the stars and fly farther than astronauts dare to explore. Together we'll soar. There are times when you've been treated bad and life seems hopeless and unfair. You think it's always gonna be like this, that you will lose and no one cares. We're here to tell you that we've been through it too. We each have had our misfortunes. Our burdens and woes. When we hurt, then we understand you, then we give back. That's how it flows. Take a step, step forward, step forward, get out of that line. Take a step, step into the world where yours equals mine. Take a step, the hardest one is the first. Look around, grab a helping hand. Only you and me can make Make this world free. We'll go far to the stars and fly farther than astronauts dare to explore. We'll go far to the stars and fly farther than astronauts dare to explore. Together we'll soar.
