In this informal YouTube walkthrough, the host (Todd Johnson) gives a live, on‑site tour of two lakeside cabins—Cabin 6 and Cabin 7—at a resort preparing for its Memorial Day opening. He describes the cabins’ positions relative to the boardwalk and dock, outlines each unit’s bedroom and bed configuration (both three‑bedroom cabins with double beds), and notes upcoming upgrades (a brand‑new roof on Cabin 7 and a refreshed kitchen in Cabin 6). The video also showcases the surrounding amenities: a boardwalk, a fishing dock with walleye opportunities, a beach that is still being cleaned, and nearby fishing tips (weed lines, three‑tall pine markers). Rental options are highlighted, including a pontoon ($500 per week or $100 per day) with canopy and live‑well, a 90‑horsepower ski boat, and nightly dock access for guests. The host emphasizes limited availability, urging viewers to book soon, and ends with a brief cameo from his daughter promoting the resort’s name, Birch Haven.

This is a little tour of the resort, I guess. All of the cabins are kind of right on the lake. It's a real pretty night, so I thought I would just kind of record them all. There's cabin 3 in front of me. In between cabin 3 and 4, there's a straight downward walk to the dock. So 3 and 4 are only a 2-bedroom cabin, I guess, but But they, um, are just a few steps away from the boardwalk and, uh, where all the activity is. Got some kids fishing off the dock right now. The docks are out there a little bit, so you can catch some walleye, and especially towards the evening times. I'll just take a little stroll down the boardwalk here. Sun's really hot, hot looking today. So we have a boardwalk that goes in front. I'm a little bit sheepish. Don't judge my beach. It's not really open yet. So, but I'm going to show you this. There they are fishing. A nice place to look. I've been whistling for my kids all night. And they've been down here, of course. So, Um, we're cleaning up the beach still and we got all the toys to put in yet, so forgive that appearance. It'll all be nice and good. But you know, here's Cabin 7, there's Cabin 6. So Cabin 6, um, has just a slight gentle stairs down to the beach. Here's all our beach toys ready to be deployed after we get picked up a little. And then there's Cabin 7, which— You know, has a little hill down to the beach. So we'll go to the other side here. Again, forgive the mess. We're still getting things ready for Memorial Day weekend, our first official opening weekend. So there you have 6, and there you have 7. Step back a little bit here. By the time you get here, 7 will have a brand new roof on it if you choose 7. I'm not real good with how to do video, but there's 6. 6 will have a brand new updated kitchen, which will be nothing super fancy, but it's better than what it was. 6 has got 3 bedrooms as well as 7, with 2 double beds. Cabin 7— excuse me, 3 double beds, and Cabin 7 has the 3 double beds also. So anyways, I'm not really sure what to tell you, um, other than here's your cabins. They are both pretty much right on the lake and have pretty much the shared views and shared view— shared views. I don't know if they share all the same beliefs and values, but they're cabins, so who knows. But either way, um, not that I'm trying to sell you on a full week, but Um, those are your differences. It really isn't any, um, when it comes down to the space. 7, of course, has the benches right out front and nice 3 windows to look at, but so does 6. So, um, we're booking up several of the last few days, so I do encourage you to make your choice soon if you're gonna come on up. And, uh, yeah, there we go. One last little view of the horizon. I had this big plan to come down here at sunset, and, uh, I'm a little early. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful here, and you'll get the full view from 6 or 7. Oh, maybe you want to rent a pontoon? You said something about that. I'm having fun with the camera here. Why don't we keep going? This is free to everybody thanks to YouTube. But, um, this is the pontoons, $500 a week or $100 a day. I can take this canopy— both have canopies, they can come down. This is kind of like our preferred one, I guess. It's the nicest, if you will. They're both equally fine though. They both have a live well and all that stuff. We also have Fishing boat, um, a ski boat that can go 90 horse. And, um, you know, each night the kids can go out on the dock. Those are my 4 there. And, uh, you can fish to your heart's content. Now when you get here, if you come here, you'll see a different weed line. The weeds generally go out to about— let's see, right about here you'll have some weeds. So it's kind of fun to fish out in there. And then on this side, the pontoon won't be here, but you can just see them peeking up. I don't know if you can see that. I've got the brightest sun ever coming in my face, so I can't even see my camera. But you got some weeds there, and then you can kind of see out here, not too far away, little hairline-like— where's my finger at? Like right in here. These actually, these weeds will come out and you'll have a nice little channel to just go Go right through. There's lots of good fishing all over. What we tell people all the time is head for the, the 3 tall pines. You can see them right in there, and those 3 tall pines will oftentimes produce some good fish. All right, the last words from my daughter. What do you have to say to this guest? How about Birch Haven? Do you like it here? Yeah. Great. All right.
