In this narrated video, Todd Johnson walks viewers through seasonal RV spot #3 at Birch Haven Resort, highlighting its privacy, surrounding trees, and lake views. He explains the neighboring cabins (Cabin 9, Cabin 10, Cabin 8) and the quiet nature of the site, especially on Saturdays when most guests check out. The spot comes with a 30‑amp power supply, water, and septic, and renters must provide their own deck. He mentions seasonal amenities such as public bathrooms with laundry, a well‑pump building, a lodge with candy and grocery supplies, a beach area, playground, gaga‑ball pit, and a game room. Practical details include firewood cost ($75 per season), garbage handling, light road traffic, and a courtesy gate. Johnson also notes the community vibe—retired couples and families who stay weekly—and explains that the spot could become a public RV area in the future if current renters leave. The video ends with an invitation to ask questions about the seasonal RV offering.

The resort has 3 seasonal RV spots, and we're going to show you the very first one when you come into the resort. Your— this is called RV number 3, and we'll just take a tour of your spot and some of the benefits of it. This spot is probably the— offers the most privacy on our resort. It's very nice. You have some lovely trees that are draped around your property. In the middle between my neighbor and Birch Haven Resort, there's a little bit of a green area, so you won't have foot traffic walking right by your cabin or your RV. You will need to provide your own deck for this, but once you build your deck, if you choose to, it can be attached. And you can see the lake there in the background. So let's take a look at the kind of views that you'll enjoy. As I've mentioned, it's somewhat private. Your only neighbors would be the mobile home right here. That is called Cabin 10. In the back area is the bedroom, so all of the Cabin 10 activity would be out front. The other seasonal RV spot folks are right here, some very nice folks, retired folks, and they sometimes have their grandchildren that are up, and they're a very nice family. And the other neighbor that you would have would be what we call Cabin 9 right here. And all of our family— or all of our cabin rentals are family-friendly folks that are here for one week and Saturday to Saturday. So oftentimes in a seasonal, then if you come on weekends, Saturday is actually pretty quiet because our guests are checking out and checking in. So there's really a good 7 or 8 hours, maybe up to 10 hours, where the resort's very quiet. Nobody's there. We're busy cleaning the cabins down the road. The back of your cabin is pretty open with a little play area. You can place your own fire pit, just as this person has done over here, and your own firewood. I'm sure this firewood will be here for the next guest. It costs about $75 for a season's worth of firewood. And you can set it up really any way you choose. Road traffic is actually very light along the resort road. It just has people pulling in on Saturdays and then going into town and things like that. The other seasonal RV folks are right here, and they're a couple from Wisconsin, a retired couple from Wisconsin that come up about 4 weeks every summer. And what you see here, the red building here, is Public bathrooms. There's a men's and women's bathroom. There's laundry in there, and that is right across from where your unit would be. Your unit will come with a 30-amp power supply, water of course, and septic. This building here, if you're curious, is just where the well pump is. So let's go up front and take a look at what the, what the view would be like and What your recreation would look like. Many of our seasonal guests bring up their own golf cart, but not necessary, of course, for a younger family. But you're this close, really, to views that are right on the lake, so it's very nice views. And you head down this road, really, about 2 blocks, and you'll be at our beachside area and enjoying the beach activities, getting in your boat, fishing, and so on. The lodge where your kids can buy candy, where you can get some grocery supplies, is just right here. If you need ice, if you need groceries, if you want to enjoy an ice cream bar, check in with the owners, whatever, it's all right there close by. If your children bring their bikes, they're a very— it's a very quick ride down to the beach and down to the playground. So the view from the back end, it's kind of nice. This part of the area here, you see a gate. It's a courtesy gate. It is unlocked, but my neighbors have simply said if you need to go through there because you have— you want to— if you want to move your RV or if you have a Big dump truck coming through, fine, but otherwise they, they are asking that our people, you know, exit down this road here that I showed earlier. So that's good for you because it's very private down here. Cars are not coming and going down this road. The only cars that— you're at the very end, in fact. So you can back, you can back yourself, your car right in here and then just Zoom out and take the circle out the resort. But you won't have any traffic, very little traffic coming by. So your property, your property, the lot basically follows this driveway and then kind of rectangles over to encompass that unit there. Your neighbors are right here and they get to use this spot to park. In future years, this might be a public RV camping area where somebody could back their unit in here. It is set up for that, but at this time, for the foreseeable future, nobody is allowed to park their RV there. There's just 2 units. Really, that depends— that just depends on if everybody just stays and we have 3 seasonal RV guests, then this spot here Does not get rented. The only way that would get rented is in future years if for some reason these people were to leave, then that would open up this spot for RV renting. So your garbage, you, you can take care of your own garbage bringing it pretty close by, but there's some garbage facilities right there. So I'll just take a gentle walk down here so you can see a little bit more. It's kind of a gray day today. I finally got around to doing the video and of course it's a little gray. Cabin 8 here is a nice 3-bedroom cabin. Our resort is made up primarily of people who've been coming for 25 years. They're very good people and very nice. And so I've walked about 25 seconds and then you can just see the general playground area. We have a gaga ball pit. We have a swing set. There's a wiffle ball volleyball court down there. And then your kids might be interested in this building right here. It's the game room. There's ping pong, foosball, everything like that is available there. Okay, there's the lodge. And you let us know if you have any questions about a seasonal RV spot at Birch Haven Resort.
