Tom Gellie suggests treating good turns like coins to collect. After each run, count the clean moments instead of dwelling on mistakes. Banking these wins keeps your mindset constructive even when most of the run felt rough.

I've been using this phrase saying like, collect coins, or think of a run like a video game. So if you did 30 short turns after doing some hockey stops, just focus on the 6 that you felt were good. You're like, oh, that felt like a really clean, crisp edge set, and I got a really nice float from it. In that run, I got 6 coins up in that top corner like Sonic has. And then, and then I'm going to stop, reset, maybe do a few hog stops, and then we're just going to go down and try and get a few more. And so rather than going, that run was crap because in 30 short turns I only got 6 right, I'd write off the whole run. No, great, I just collected 6 coins. Bank it, keep going. Next run, maybe only get 2 out of 30, doesn't matter, there's still 2 more. Focus on that. Humans focus on negativity. Don't let that happen.
