Get rid of the A FRAME

In this short instructional video, ski instructor (Speaker A) guides a learner (Speaker B) through a series of tactile cues designed to correct the common “A‑frame” skiing posture. The coach first demonstrates a knock‑knee position, urging the skier to roll the outside foot onto its edge while keeping the knees together. He then introduces a novel proprioceptive reference: the logo on the side of the ski boot. By pressing the foot against the logo and slightly past the boot edge, the skier can feel a balanced point that aligns with the pole, encouraging a subtle forward‑lean and glute activation. The instructor emphasizes relaxing the muscles, using the poles for additional support, and feeling the pressure shift from the sole to the logo, which creates a gentle stretch in the inside glute. The learner confirms the new sensation, noting the change in pressure and the ability to move down the slope with a flatter, more centered stance. The exchange is highly practical, focusing on body awareness, edge control, and weight distribution to replace the A‑frame with a more efficient ski position.
