Loosen your top boot buckles to let your feet move more freely in the middle of a turn. Focus on feeling the ball of your foot and heel to stay centered, so the ski can initiate the turn naturally instead of you forcing it.

The first step is to loosen our buckles. I'm not going to loosen all of them. I'm going to do these top ones. So as we're working on the middle part of the turn and we're trying to feel for the ball of the foot and the heel, this is where we're trying to be more centered. This is where we're getting the ski to start turning us. Let the ski take us more for a ride instead of being more directing the ski.
