Tom Gellie Training Session 2 for Whistler Blackcomb Ski School

13 Mar 2019 · 12 min

Tom Gellie teaches ski instructors how foot pressure and joint angles control turn dynamics. He shows how moving the pelvis, hips, and knees shifts weight to the ski tip, and how the big toe and pinky toe provide feedback about pressure distribution. The session includes drills on foot rotation and stiffness to help instructors feel and control pressure in different parts of the turn.
