When life gives you moguls, ski moguls #skiing
The video features a single speaker delivering a lyrical spoken‑word/rap verse that reflects on the cyclical nature of fame in the rap world. The narrator observes how new artists replace older ones, how image and aggression dominate the culture, and how violence can lead to death (“capped up and wrapped in plastic”). He recounts witnessing the rise and fall of peers, lawsuits that strip them of money, the loss of close friends and financial stability, and visits to incarcerated or hospitalized individuals. The piece ends with a sense of alienation, noting that places and people have changed, and former acquaintances no longer recognize him. The overall tone is gritty, reflective, and critical of the industry’s harsh realities.
