Failure can be a powerful learning lesson, because even if you don't want to, failure sometimes puts the lesson in our faces and we have to confront it. That's why it's so powerful, because otherwise we may not have an opportunity to confront it. Or we might just distance ourselves from it and never learn the lesson that we actually want to learn.
