Tom Krieglstein shares three memory tricks for leaders: repeat someone's name multiple times during conversation, use it again later to keep it active, and create an associative link by connecting it to someone you know.
Once or twice, maybe three times throughout the conversation. Use their name again because that's going to help keep it in your brain and keep your brain processing it. That's tip number two. Use the name again in the conversation. Tip number three. Remember by association I told you earlier that sometimes I'll say verbally, oh, my brother's also named Dan. Can you attach their name to something else?
