Tom Krieglstein explains how difficult moments in your life become lessons you can share with others. The distance you gain from past mistakes reveals what they taught you, turning personal mess into a message worth telling.
If you ever heard this phrase, let your past mess be your future message. I don't know if you ever heard that. And I thought about it, because I was like, oh, there's a couple moments in my life where I would go back and redo it. But now that I've gotten some distance from those moments, I actually realized I learned some amazing things. Life lessons that actually I'm not sure I would have learned anywhere else except for those horrible moments.
