This is me talking in front of about 800 people. And there is a specific thing about this setup that I do not like, and I'm wondering if you can guess what it is before I say it. In 3, 2, 1. I don't like is that gap that exists between the stage and the first row. There's a reason that comedy clubs pack people in, because the closer you are to the audience, the higher the energy is going to be, and the easier it is for you to be able to connect with them. But the further that gap is, the harder it is to connect, and the harder is to push your energy out to them and their energy back to you. So I don't like gaps. I try and squeeze that in so I'm as close to them as possible.
