Jennifer explains why she's involved in campus leadership: personal growth through self-challenge, supporting her peers, building career skills before graduation, and preferring real human connection over digital alternatives.
Who has something they'd be willing to share? Let's hear yes right up front. All right, first off, what's your name for everyone?
Hi, my name is Jennifer.
Jennifer. Everyone say arigato, Jennifer. All right, Jennifer, what do you got for us?
I'm here for myself because I love to challenge myself to do new things and to push myself to do better. And I'm here for the campus, because the campus is run by students. Even though there's workers, if it weren't for us, there wouldn't be a campus. And so we need to let others know that we can help each other and that we're out there and we're willing to share our experiences. And then I'm here for my career because I want experience. I just don't want to get into a career and be like, oh, I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing. But this is putting me in the midst of it. So I will have personal experience and I can share with others. And then for the world, because the world, we need to be social. AI is nice, but I like to talk with people, and it makes a difference. So we have people who show that they can do it. It's like, okay, they did it. I can do it.
