A facilitator leads student leaders through a quick icebreaker: turn to the person next to you, in front, behind, and give them a genuine compliment. It builds confidence and gets the room comfortable before the main event starts.
Fact, quickly, quickly turn to the person next to you and just say, you look good. Ready? And go. And to be fair, turn to the person on the other side of you and say, you look alright too. When I say go, turn in front of you or behind you and give that person one genuine compliment. Oh, thank you. I appreciate that. They're still going.
