Yes, you do need a verbal SEO blog for your podcast if you want to be seen by a broader audience searching for what you have to say. The sad part about podcasting, and while there's so many amazing things about it, is that it's not highly searchable. No one can tell what you said on your show unless you unlock that value. And we found by doing verbal SEO, verbal search engine optimized blogs, we're able to do that. That way, anyone searching for any piece of information on Google unlocks everything that you say in your show in every single episode. And that means that you can go back and do back episodes, right? So do episodes that are old. Your value of your podcast, if you have not blogged an episod episode yet, is never lost. You can reclaim it at any time when you do those blogs. So thinking about what unlocks that value? Well, a verbal SEO blog is what you say on your show, but it doesn't look like show notes. What we classically think is show notes, which is really a transcript where we have somebody's name, colon, and then what they said. This looks more like a blog. We bold face what the host says and we light face in the copy text what the guest says. We also format it so it looks more like a blog, so that Google believes that it's a blog. So it gives you full credit for it. But the best part about podcast episodes turned into blogs is that you will beat out anyone because they can only write 400 to 600 words comfortably in the amount of time you can outspoken speak that, and in 30 minutes you can speak up to 3,000 words. That's amazing. And so when we look at our verbal SEO blogs, they become power pages for the content we want. So anyone out there searching and looking for information can find it from you. If you decide to unlock the value of what you said on your podcast episode by utilizing a verbal SEO blog model.
