Well, hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia, and this is Reality Transplaining. I'm often asked about specific practices that you can implement in your life to help you in your Transurfing. So, today, I'd like to introduce you to Reality Transquestioning. Reality Transquestioning is a simple yet powerful tool to shift your thinking and your feeling state from wherever you happen to be now to wherever you need to be in order to align to a new and better reality of your choice. One often used tool to change our thinking that many of us are familiar with is the use of affirmations. The theory is that we fake it till we make it. If we affirm something often enough, the theory goes, the affirmed reality will eventually materialize. While many of us might find affirmations to be effective, Many of us also find that we affirm and affirm, but nothing seems to change. There are many reasons that affirmations might not be effective, but one principal reason is that our critical mind gets in the way with a reality check. So, if you make an affirmation like, "I'm living in a beautiful house," when obviously you're not, the critical mind immediately counters with, "No, you're not. Reality check. You're living in a dump." Or if you make an affirmation like, "I am in a loving and nurturing relationship with the partner of my dreams," the critical mind counters with, "No, you're not. Reality check. You're all alone." In either case, the critical mind instantly nullifies the effect of the affirmation, and it's one step forward, one step back, with maybe a small step forward every now and then when the critical mind isn't looking. And since the critical mind works both consciously and unconsciously, you end up fighting, at best, a long, drawn-out battle on two fronts, resulting in a stalemate. Reality Transquestioning takes affirmations one step further by turning affirmations into targeted questions. In the best tradition of Transurfing, these questions are phrased in a manner that presumes that the reality you want to have already exists, because the timeline in which you are living the life you want to live already exists among the infinite possibilities of the Alternative Space. Let's look at a couple of examples. Instead of saying, "I am living in a beautiful house," change the affirmation to a Trans question, "Why am I living in such a beautiful house?" Or, how did I come to be living in such a beautiful house? Instead of saying, I am in a loving and nurturing relationship with the partner of my dreams, change the affirmation to a trans-question. How did my ideal partner and I come to be living such a great life together? Why would Reality Trans-Questioning work? Better than affirmations. Here are a few reasons. One, we are born to ask questions. We are hardwired to ask questions at the deepest possible level. And whether you realize it or not, you're asking questions all the time. In a sense, everything that we experience experience in life is an answer to the questions we are asking. Trans-questioning simply harnesses a power that is already built into us. 2. When we have contradictory thoughts, we experience cognitive dissonance. Our minds generally hate to form contradictory thoughts. So we find cognitive dissonance very uncomfortable, and we seek to resolve the contradictions as much as possible. Our minds will seek answers that will make our questions true, especially if the question already presumes truth. By introducing trans questions that deliberately create contradictions, We hijack cognitive dissonance to our advantage. 3. Questions bypass critical thinking. It's easy to contradict a statement. I am in excellent health. No, you're not. Your health sucks. But a question demands answers. How did I come to be in this state? In such excellent health? Why do I keep making decisions that promote my health? In the face of a constant barrage of positive, life-affirming questions, your mind, at a conscious and unconscious level, will seek answers. By incessantly asking Trans Questions, we hijack our inbuilt desire to create satisfying answers. Transquestions are a very specific type of question, and you can formulate very effective transquestions once you know how. It's important to note that effective transquestions have the following features: One, they are always in the present tense. Why am I experiencing this now? They can also be in the past tense. What made me this great person I am now? Two, they always presume that the reality in which you're asking the question Already exists. How come I'm so lucky? Presumes you are already lucky. Why does my reality support me so well? Presumes that your reality does in fact support you very well. 3. They're always positive and focused on the desired reality. How come I have such a loving family? Why is my every moment filled with joy? Asking present tense, life-affirming trans questions that presume that the reality already exists accentuates the positive, eliminates the negative, and doesn't mess with the mediocre or in-between. It's also important to note that you transquestion in a spirit of non-agitated low significance and dropped Importance. You're just asking questions. You're not required to believe or have faith in anything. You're not required to accept whether the Trans questions are true or not. You don't have to justify why you're asking the questions. You're not expected to answer the questions. Basically, you just let go. The questions will answer themselves through revelations or changes in the outer world as outer intention speaks to you, or through inspired intuition and changes in the way you feel as inner intention speaks to you. Reality Transquestioning harnesses the power of both inner intention and outer intention. They will work in synergy, so that you'll begin to make decisions from a balanced Center Screen, and you'll almost feel compelled to act in accordance with a new perspective coming from an elevated, positive vibration, as the trans-answers emerge from your trans-questions. By incorporating a session of Transurfing of Transquestioning into your daily routine, for as little as 10 minutes a day, preferably just before you go to sleep, you'll kickstart a process of aligning to a better reality. So, during a session of Reality Transquestioning, feel free to repeat a question as often as you like. Or to return to the same theme over and over again. It's valuable to enjoy this process. It shouldn't feel like a chore. Remember, you're cultivating a state of being. And with that in mind, don't just ask the Trans Questions, feel them. Use all your senses. Ask your Transquestions with the physical sensations and the emotional feelings that are consistent with the reality that you're cultivating into alignment. Feel free to fool around with the wording or phrasing of your Transquestions. Why am I so healthy? How did I get to be in such good health? If there's slang or jargon associated with the reality you want to materialize, use it in the formulation of your Trans question. How come I'm such a high-net-worth individual? How did I become such a person of means? But also feel free to use exaggerated or striking language. Why am I so exceptionally gorgeous? Who loves you, baby? Feel free to be playful. Playfulness good.
