DO THIS! The Negative Slide! w/ Reality Transurfing

Renee Garcia teaches the Negative Slide, a Reality Transurfing technique that neutralizes the balancing forces that block goals. Accept the possibility of defeat, envision it briefly, create a backup plan, then pursue your goal without obsessing over success or failure. She used it to pass a real estate exam and survive financial uncertainty during COVID.

Hello, Transurfers and the Transurfing curious! I am Renee Garcia, and this is Transurfing TV, the only official YouTube channel for Reality Transurfing that is endorsed by Vadim Zeland himself, the author and creator of Reality Transurfing. And yeah, today's lesson, 'The Negative Slide'. So, This is really one of my most used concepts. It's pretty amazing, actually, because I used to really load up my reality with a ton of Excess Potential and Importance in the past, and it really wasn't working for me. So, as we know, when we create Importance around a subject, or particularly a goal, we can create Excess Potential, invite in Balancing Forces, and Balancing Forces makes our steps towards that goal, or that achieved— that intended achievement, it will make things a lot more challenging for us on our way there, or possibly get it to a point where we don't even achieve what it was we intended on having. So, that's worst-case scenario. So, I know this is a little bit— a little bit of a controversial subject, because we are gearing ourselves with Reality Transurfing to think positively, right? The Slide is us embellishing a filter in front of our eyes that help us to see our reality through, that gets us in line with a positive outcome. And we embellish our Slides with positive imagery. But in doing this, we can also create, again, a lot of Excess Potential on needing to see things play out in the way that we want to see them play out. So, the Negative Slide neutralizes the Importance, it neutralizes that Excess Potential, and it kinda keeps Balancing Forces at bay. So, this, for me, has been monumental in me achieving stuff. I can go after things a lot more fearlessly, really, and just continue on my path with a very smooth glide, if you wanna look at it like that, and not have a lot of friction of Balancing Forces coming in and wrecking things and making it more challenging for me to achieve my goals, because I have too high of Importance levels. So, first of all, I presented this idea once on the ITI group, and somebody challenged me and said, "Oh, Vadim would never teach something like that, playing a Negative Slide." And he actually did! So, this is where I've got it. I've gotten it from is the book. And Vadim says specifically in the book, "Unless you accept the possibility of defeat, you will not eliminate desire." So, that is his quote. I'm going to read this short part from the Reality Transurfing: Steps I-V book, just to let you know what his words are exactly, to dissolve any ambiguity about what he meant with this concept. And then I'm going to tell you a little bit more about— how I see this helping everyone right now, in the current circumstances that we're in. It's actually a really amazing way to eradicate any Excess Potential of needing to see this whole thing kind of resolve itself quickly. So, that's what I'm doing, and it's helping immensely. But first, let me get to the lesson. So, there is a very simple way— of reducing Importance, which is to come to terms with the possibility of defeat at the very beginning. Unless you accept the possibility of defeat, you will not eliminate desire. Make sure that in the process of purifying intention of desire that you do not lose grip on the intention itself. Set the intention to achieve your goal, and start by accepting the possibility that you may— fail. Run the scenario of defeat round in your mind a few times and consider what you would do if that happened. What might serve as a Plan B or a safety net? Invite the realization into your mind that not achieving the goal would not be the end of the world. Imagine the scenario of defeat should be a one-time event. There is no point in constantly returning to the scene of failure in your mind. The exercise is only intended to free you from the need of achieving the goal exactly as you have imagined. You cannot know how the goal will be achieved, but we will return to this point later. Once you have consciously accepted the possibility of failure, do not think about failure or success, just move in the direction of your goal and set off just as you would if you were going to the newsagents to buy a newspaper. Newsagents, nobody says that in English. Success will be in the bag, and if for some reason it is not, then there is No cause for sorrow or regret. If you do not succeed the first time, you will succeed the next, as long as you do not tear yourself apart over the initial failure. So, he is talking about creating a Negative Slide here in regards to a goal, right? But we can really just do this in life in general. Like, it doesn't have to be about a goal. If you wanna see your life play out in a particular way, play this— this this opposite vision, this opposite set of circumstances, and put yourself there, not for very long, like he says, for just a few moments, to show yourself that it's actually okay. Like, we have the insurance of Advantage, right? That's what Tufti gave us, the insurance of Advantage. So, this concept that no matter what happens, we can always find the Advantage in it. But this is kind of like pre-insurance. This is you assuming any scenario plays out and you're okay with it from the get-go. So, in doing this, you are making your time from point A to point B as easy as possible, because you're not high up on that— in between those two skyscrapers, balancing being afraid of falling, right? You are essentially on the ground going towards your goal in a very, very balanced manner. So, um, when to play the Negative Slide. I play the Negative Slide when I first set an intention for a goal, and then a few times during my process. So, when I was getting my real estate license, I said, "Okay, I might not pass the test, and it's gonna be okay." And I actually played a Negative Slide before I went in to pass the actual exam, so that I failed, right? And that allowed me to pass it on the first time, because I wasn't in there nervous, banking on, needing to see it play out exactly the way that I wanted, or I would experience some kind of negative effects. I went in there totally balanced and calm, because I already accepted the possibility of defeat prematurely. So, when you accept a variation of reality outside of your intention, you are essentially letting go of fear, or catastrophizing, or— running in some way that you need to see this play out, or you're gonna bottom out with depression, or be disappointed, or whatever it is. So, you're kinda taking a lot of that stuff off the table in one fell swoop by playing this Negative Slide. So, I know that we're talking about the Negative Slide in regards to goals, but I'm gonna actually tell everyone now the Negative Slide that I'm playing in regards to coronavirus, and how it's helping me me through these times. So, my businesses, all of my businesses are kind of luxury goods. They're not things that people need, they're definitely not priorities. So, there's a very good possibility that I might suffer financially from this series of events playing out with coronavirus. And I will admit, for the first couple of days of sort of realizing that this may be a reality, I'm like, Oh my God! What's gonna happen? What am I gonna do? I've got a mortgage, and I've got bills, and I'm not gonna have any income! So, what I did as soon as I caught myself is I say, "Okay. So, you are going to play a Negative Slide right now of you being defeated financially, and you're gonna actually play that out in your mind and feel—" how that scenario playing out would feel. So, first, I accepted that I don't get to keep my house. I've got a really low mortgage on my house, though, because I put a good chunk of money down. So, the fact that I could rent it is there, right? I could rent my house and dissolve my mortgage for myself. Then, I have my grandparents who live up in Oregon, who I absolutely love. They have a big piece of my heart. It's a property, it's all set up, I could be super comfortable there, me and my boyfriend could move there and essentially live rent-free and have no overhead. So, I— that's kind of my worst-case scenario, is I have to live with family, I have to get rid of my house, things as I know them will change substantially. But you know what? It's actually not that bad, right? It's actually got a lot of advantage there. I get to spend more time with my family, I get to live in the country, I get to be in Oregon, which I absolutely love. And this is actually a scenario that'll work out for me. So, in— just like he said in the book, in creating that Plan B, or that safety net, you're really putting yourself in a position where you can imagine the benefits of this scenario, right? You don't have to be afraid of the scenario if you live in it. There and realize that it's actually okay. So, this is all I'm doing right now, and I'm sitting at home and I'm not panicking. I'm not feeling like, "Oh my God! I gotta get my businesses running again! I gotta get cash flow coming in! I gotta see this happen! I gotta see that happen!" I actually don't need to see anything happen! Right? I could ride this out for a while, I could just— Just act as I'm called to by Outer Intention, but I don't need to see it play out in the way that my mind naturally wants to go, which is me loading up my financial, my income streams with Importance, and all sorts of parts of my life just working in ways that maybe they're not intended to work right now. So, this is the cool thing. For those that are really challenged by this scenario right now, as it's playing out, this is a super powerful moment that your reality might be handing to you to say, "Hey, maybe it's time to learn to live with a little bit less," or, "Maybe it's time to let go of that rock," right? Maybe you do need to let go of your mortgage, maybe you do need to let go of your— job. Maybe you do need to go move in with family. Maybe you do need to, um, band together with some friends and figure out a way to live with less money while people are unemployed. Maybe this is actually a time that we can get back to the basics and find a way of living where we don't need a lot of money and stuff. And you know, there could be an an amazing advantage in this for all of us. So, and again, maybe it's just time to switch tracks, and this is your world sort of setting you up that you can make a move if you choose to. So, this is how I'm playing the Negative Slide right now. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. I want to know, do you play the Negative Slide? How do you feel about playing the Negative Slide in this scenario? How do you feel about playing the Negative Slide in regards to a goal that you might have right now? So, again, comment and let me know your thoughts on this video, you guys! I'm curious to hear them all. Bye!
