Don't let that thing define who you are in the moment. Hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia and this is Transurfing TV! And today on Transurfing TV, we are going to talk about the value of not letting specific things internally and things externally define who you are as a person, as an individual. We are very, very, very impressionable as human beings, right? I could sit and talk to my dog and tell him all kinds of— limiting things about himself. But his nature, his intelligence, all of that stuff, he wouldn't buy into any of it, right? So, like, not an impressionable creature, whereas humans are highly impressionable. Humans can hear something very, very early on in life and take it as fact, and run with the ball, so to speak, gaining momentum. Gathering more evidence and information and material to support that little bit of knowledge, that little seed of knowledge that embedded itself, maybe at a time when you didn't even know it was occurring, right? So, it is of my firm belief that most of what we are challenged with in our lives, most— of the ways that we are hindered from our own power, from our Meta Power, from our perspective of being limited in nature, or flawed, or don't have what it takes, and not tapping into that optimal version of yourself, that inability to tap into that optimum version of yourself. This is really about letting specific things define you, that as soon as you wake up to these things— and this can be really, really revolutionary if you haven't done this before. It's a little practice where I just watch myself and I watch my environment, and anytime I feel myself buying into something to the extent to the extent that it produces an "I am," right? So, I will get into that in depth, because I'm gonna really break it down of how much of this there is in our own minds and in our external environment, both with images we see, information we receive that we adhere strongly to, let it define us, and then also words of others. This can be really— really a big one to tackle. But when you start waking up to these things, it's kinda like a flood happens and you realize, "Oh my God! I'm not that person! That's not me! That's not who I am! Those are things that I bought into and allowed those things to define who I am as an individual." And all that shit— can come right off, right? I mean, you can just— once you've set the intention, you do the work and you wake up to it, "I see myself, I see my reality, I see myself!" Right? "I see myself!" This is such a loaded statement! There's so many different ways that you could break this statement down. "I see myself," this could just be basic coming to a place of awareness. Or "I see myself, I see who I really am, and it's not any of this bullshit right here," right? So, turning down the volume of this, letting all this crap define you as an individual, and turning up who you really are as a person, it's like harmony beyond— it's beautiful to feel! It's fucking incredible! So, I'm gonna break it down for you guys. This has been— first of all, I'm giving this lesson today because of something that happened. Usually, I have my lessons planned out of what I'm gonna do. I film on specific days, I have those lessons planned out. Once in a while, in the morning, something will happen and I'll just feel like I'm onto something, right? Something clicks. And I think, "Oh God! This is a lesson!" This was one of those mornings. I had something really, really challenging happen with my family. I've had an ongoing problem with detaching from toxic family members, getting pulled back in, people being very manipulative, highly manipulative, and me trying to not only— restructure how I view the whole family structure and how I deal with it, my relationship to it. But also, to really challenge myself to understand when I come into the presence of certain behavioral stuff coming from other people, or ways that they are and— facts about my life, my family, all this stuff, that there's this thing that has happened in the past where I'm up, I'm doing good, I'm balanced, I'm stable, I'm taking care of myself, I'm doing well, I'm on my path, I'm managing my Pendulums, all is well. And then this wave— not the Wave of Fortune! Another kind of wave. A wave of bullshit comes in and knocks me off my game, right? So, when I get knocked off of my game— and I'm getting better at this. And I think today I actually had a breaking point, and that's why I'm making this video now. When I get knocked off my game, I let all the crap, the family dysfunction, The opinions, the behavioral issues, the past, the memories, all that stuff, I would kinda like switch into pre-Transurfing version of Renee, injured version of Renee, sad version of Renee that goes into a state of depression after talking to a family member for a week or two, because I just— don't know how to deal. So, this is me, or this was me, becoming overly identified with the information and material that I was allowing into my layer of reality. So, as Vadim Zeland suggests in this book, that Pendulums can only hook us if we're resonating at a specific frequency, right? If we're not resonating at the frequency of the Pendulum, the Pendulum just falls through, it just drops right through. Now, sometimes Pendulums are so powerful that you could think that your frequency is at a certain level, and maybe it is. But then that Pendulum can actually affect you and lower your frequency. So, it can then hook onto you and do its thing, get its energy and create discord and all that kinda stuff, gain momentum, all that. So, this is about realizing when this specific thing is happening to you, right? So, realizing, waking up in the moment, "I see myself, I see my reality." And learning to not identify, right? Don't let that thing define who you are in the moment, what your ideals are about yourself or your life. Because that's exactly what happened to me. This thing would come in, and then I would go back into old me mode, right? And I would become depressed and thinking about it, and "Oh, I just want it to go away!" And "It's never gonna go away! It's never gonna go away!" Well, I realized that all of the stuff that I'm now learning to manage was in fact defining me. And not only keeping me resonating at that specific frequency, being that certain version of me— this is really the key, kinda hooking me back into that old version of myself. So, as I say with the Lifelines, there's an infinite number of Lifelines, I like to view. That there's 10 linear Lifelines stacked on top of each other. And the higher my thoughts, the higher my frequency, the higher my actions, I go up in Lifelines, right? And the lower my thoughts, the lower my frequency, the lower my actions, I go down to those bottom Lifelines. It's the same for self, right? It's the exact same for self. The higher you think about yourself, the higher your frequency is, the better and more meaningful and powerful actions you're taking. Taking for yourself, you're gonna be connecting with a higher version of yourself. Now, if you allow your frequency to become compromised, your thoughts to become compromised, getting hooked by that Pendulum, whatever it is, and then your actions start to also fall and tumble, right? This would be me getting one of those abusive phone calls from a family member and then saying, "Oh God! I just don't have the energy!" "I'm gonna go get into bed for 2 days, because I feel really, really depressed now." Boom! There it is! I've just connected with the lower version of myself, right? So, this is— it's not so much— I know I'm saying don't let it define you, but really what it's about is not letting certain attributes of your life create your reality for you! Time and time again by you adhering to this information or these events coming in and overtly identifying to the extent that they take you away from that path of you connecting with that higher lifeline or that optimal version of yourself. So, what I'm going to talk about here, things we allow to define us. And there are lots of them, and I'm sure I'm going to miss a ton of these. So, if you guys wanna comment below in the comments and tell me some of the ones that I've missed out, because this is sort of a new revelation for me as well, so maybe you guys could help school me a little bit. So, things we allow to define us. First of all, thoughts, right? "I can't do that." "This is the best I can be." "I'm poor." "I'm a loser." "I don't have what it takes." So, again, thinking thoughts like this— this version of you crystallizes, right? You hear a thought like this come out of your mind, a product of your mind, "I don't have what it takes." And then if you adhere to that, you believe in it, you accept it, then that thought That thought crystallizes you in that state of being, and you're allowing that thought to actually define who you are as a person. "I don't have what it takes," right? So, your own thoughts can definitely— this is probably the most powerful version of letting something define who you are, a negative thought about yourself. The easiest solution to that— is to stop thinking about those negative thoughts and increase the positive thoughts about yourself, right? So, think, "Well, I—" For me, what happened this morning, I started to go down this path of letting my family's stuff define me again, and going into that old version of me. And my thoughts were going, my mind's running, I'm overthinking it. And then I'm like, "Wait!" Boom! Stop! I see myself, I see my reality. That's not who I am. And for a brief, brief, brief moment when I— and I'll admit, I started crying. I cried for probably about half an hour, and I was pretty upset. And then I stopped, and I was like, "Wait! Nope, nope, nope! It ain't going down like that!" So, I decided I'm not gonna let that define me today. I'm going to take all this other stuff that I know to be true about me, things I'm capable of, who I am right now, what role I'm playing in my own life and the lives of other people, I'm going to take all of that and I'm going to let that define me. And sure enough, tears stopped, put my makeup on and turned my camera on to do my videos. And this is where the magic happens. This is where the fracture occurs from this previously defined self of whatever it is that you are not benefiting from that version of yourself, that version of yourself that you are looking to evolve out of, and then this optimal version of yourself. So it's like a crack. A crack occurs, like an earthquake. Earth starts shaking, and you jump over to the side of the optimal self, right? This is progress, and I'm feeling it! So, I'm feeling pretty damn good right now, you guys! Okay. So, thoughts, obviously we know that. Actions or habits. This is a big one! "I'm a smoker. I'm lazy. I always mess it up. I'm a quitter." So, "I'm a smoker." That one was really a big one for me for a long time. I told myself— I smoked into my 30s. I started when I was 13 years old! I was a smoker from 13 years old! Oh my God! So, I kept telling myself, "Well, that's just the way it is. I'm a smoker. I'm a smoker. I'm a smoker." And of course, I'm a smoker then, right? So, all I really had to do— watch my video on breaking habits, that's how That's how I quit smoking. It's really an extreme sort of exercise to break habits, but it worked for me. And then I just started saying, "I'm not a smoker. I'm not a smoker. I'm not a smoker anymore. I'm not a smoker anymore." And I let that thought define that challenge, right? That I had with a habit. And sure enough, 5 years later— I'm not even a smoker anymore! So, it's pretty good! "I'm lazy. I always mess it up. I'm a quitter." Any lower nature thoughts about yourself, don't let those define you! Really, why you are lazy or a quitter or whatever it is you're challenged by is because you have overtly identified with that thought! If you want to overtly identify with a positive thought in the opposite direction, direction. This just takes systematic, habitual practice of thinking those thoughts instead. You could simply start telling yourself, I'm the most energetic person in the world. I'm the most energetic person in the world. Then you won't even be thinking the thoughts about lazy. And then all of a sudden you will start feeling energetic. Thoughts are absolutely everything and actions. So, Experiences! This is a huge one! This could take a video all on its own, right? Playing the victim because something bad happened to you. This is like the really number one way of you letting an experience define you, overtly identifying with an experience. How this could really, really harm you and your Mirror! Because if you say, "Oh!" "Something really bad happened to me, I'm a victim!" And you resonate with victim mentality, you're shooting that victim mentality energy to your external mirror, and that mirror is going to reflect back to you lots more opportunities to become a victim, right? So, experiences and making certain that you stay in contact with this idea of non-duality— Nothing's good, nothing's bad. Everything is just the way that it is. And it's my definition, it's my perception of the event, or how I saw it play out, it's my idea of the meaning of that event that creates what that event actually is. So, I know I probably botched that a little bit, but Advantage, you guys! So, really tuning in to whatever you experience, find the advantage! Because then, if you find the advantage, you are going to let the advantage of the experience define you, and not the lower nature stuff of that experience define you! So, if you have a really, really bad experience in life, let's say something happens to you that's extremely traumatic— extremely traumatic, figure out a way where it actually worked to your benefit. Like me speaking about my childhood, right? I could very easily feel really sorry about myself and define that experience as "That was the worst thing that ever happened to me," or "That was the best thing that ever happened to me, because I learned so much, and now I'm able to assist others who are challenged." by the same experience, right? So, really applying Advantage as much as you possibly can to your experiences, and withdrawing from that experience the positive and the benefits so they can define you in a much better way. Media imagery and others' failure. So, media imagery. Obviously, like, we're bombarded with all kinds of stuff where people are, you know, got all kinds of money and living this life and have so much success. Don't let that define you in a way where it's like, "Oh, I don't have that, so I must not be good enough. There's something wrong with me. I'm lacking something." other people's success, don't let that define you if you aren't experiencing that level of success. You can, right? You can. But as long as you're taking this external imagery and applying it in your mind as though you're lacking, you're not good enough and they are, then it's gonna be really challenging to— to achieve success, really. You're going to have to start to define imagery that you're experiencing as like, "I'm going there! That's where I'm going! I'm going there too! That's my reality! I just haven't gotten there yet!" Right? Others' failure. So, the reason that I put this is because there have been some people in my life that have failed doing things. The same things that I'm doing now. And for a brief period of time, I'd look at their failure and say, "Oh well, they're failing. I don't wanna fail, so maybe I should just quit so I don't fail too." But then I decided to take their failure and think of it in different ways. "Okay, well, now there's less competition!" Or "They got that far, now I'm gonna take the ball and run with it the rest of the way!" Right? So, I redefine what a situation like experiencing others fail in the same areas that I'm currently working in, redefine that in a way where it actually works for me instead of scares me and throws me off. I will end with this one, other people's words. So, "You aren't good enough. You aren't capable." Things that you heard when you were a kid. Things that maybe an abusive spouse is telling you right now. Really catching and waking up in the moment when you experience some of this type of information. And just at first, what I would advise is wake up to it. Don't try to do anything, just watch it, right? Just watch it. When somebody says something negative about you, don't try to, "Hey, don't say anything negative about me!" Don't try to do anything like that. Just watch what happens. Watch what happens when you come in contact with that information. Watch what happens to whatever process you were involved in when you came in contact with that information. Maybe you were doing something, and then after that, you didn't feel like doing it anymore, or whatever. How it impedes you from continuing on as if you were just doing things on your own. And really starting to assess. How you can tune yourself out if you're not able to escape. Waking up really is the number one way to do this. Waking up and not letting other people's words define you or change your trajectory during your day or whatever, and just listening without— overly identifying and buying into what somebody else is saying about you. So, let me know your thoughts on this video, everyone! I know it's a meaty one! I know it's some real complex Transurfing stuff here, or at least I think it is! But also, down below, remember to tell me other ways that we have access to stuff that we sometimes adhere to that allows us— to connect with it, identify in a way where we define ourselves differently, primarily in a lower way, so we can all learn to stop doing this not-so-desirable thing to ourselves, right? So, let me know what you think, everybody! Like, comment, subscribe, all that good stuff! And thank you so much for watching! Bye, guys!
