Reality can be intense. Our senses all bustling with stimulation, our brains working on overdrive just to compute all the incoming information. Days blur together and tasks of daily life seem to never pause for a break. It was nearly 5 years ago I was diagnosed with severe PTSD. Miraculously now, barely a hint of it, yet my memory easily recalls the fire truck passing by, with its sirens blaring, sending me into a fetal position on the sidewalk, scared, confused, and way overstimulated by life. Managing the aftershocks of trauma certainly added to my yoke that just got heavier with time. I was actively practicing the Transurfing principles yet, Something still hadn't clicked into place. My head swirled, tensions mounted in times of stress. My nerve endings at times lit like the Fourth of July. My logical mind seemed to understand the new program. However, my body and primitive mind weren't on board just yet. The reality that makes contact with my skin these days seems almost soothing now, like a hug from my grandma. The reality in my mind, a luxurious bath of pleasant thoughts and at times nothingness. Do I still encounter self-doubt Anxiety or unwanted thoughts? Yes, but I give so little attention to these thoughts that they flow through me like fast-moving waters, replaced with new thoughts, thoughts I have chosen, the luxurious ones that I fill in the gap where high levels of importance used to dominate. So how did this happen exactly? How did I release myself from this anxiety, fear, and worry? How did I free the rubber band connecting me to my life in a manner that seemed so tight at times? Surprisingly, it didn't snap. I dropped importance on myself. I stopped worrying about what others think. I stopped worrying if things will work or not. I stopped worrying if I am doing things right. Past afflictions, insomnia, autoimmune issues, trauma bubbling up. All neutralize within moments. Relationships, business and personal, have been lubed up with Frailing and deactivated from balancing forces by letting go of excess potential of myself. I am not important. My life is but a blip in a very long strand of cause and effect. Life and my position within it is ultimately meaningless. Any negative sensation, a fleeting fraction of a speck in time and space. None of it really matters. Matters. Nihilistic, I know, but it works for me. These concepts, a very deep understanding and connection with them has opened up this variation for me. A daily reminder that I have a choice. It can all be as big or small as I want it to be. I just needed to give the concepts time to really sink in, make themselves at home in my mind, truly melt into me. They have now. Reality Transurfing has taught me to let go, give myself freedom to stop caring what my world has planned for me. To right-size the whole structure. I now play that same rubber band like a guitar string I dance to. So, how can you let go in a big or small way today? Do you think some radical dropping of Importance is the ticket? For you too.
