How to Look at Death and Really Live With Reality Transurfing Vadim Zeland Renée Garcia

In this motivational monologue, Renée Garcia uses the Transurfing framework to confront mortality and turn the awareness of death into a catalyst for living fully. She argues that both life and death are over‑valued, and by dropping their importance one can free oneself from the limiting "script" of conventional survival‑driven goals. Garcia outlines five practical steps: (1) drop importance on life and death, drawing on a book about fear of death; (2) align heart and mind by clarifying true desires and turning them into immediate intentions; (3) decide when to act, rejecting the passive waiting for external circumstances (the "Mirror"); (4) run a "Negative Slide" by visualizing a minimal worst‑case scenario to dissolve excess potential and fear of financial loss; and (5) contemplate the four‑second moment before death described in Ouspensky’s "Belzebub’s Tales" to motivate a "balls‑out" approach to life. Throughout she shares personal anecdotes—sailing a boat, early retirement ventures, risky investments—and invites viewers to join her community and courses. The tone is candid, darkly humorous, and passionately encouraging, urging viewers to live now rather than defer to a distant retirement.

When will you act? Right? So, this is for people that don't have the plan, but they have something that they want. Hello, hello, hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia, guys, and this is Transurfing TV! And today on Transurfing TV, you're gonna die! Because you are! I mean, it's something that we don't like to think about as human beings, but it's gonna happen, and it's gonna run up on you pretty quick here, probably, especially if you're my age. I mean, I'm in my 40s now. I'm definitely halfway, because people like me don't live very long. I've got some high miles on me. I'll be lucky to make it to 80. No, in all seriousness, I love thinking about death. I love death, I love darkness, I love nihilism, I love the idea that it's all kinda meaningless. And what does have meaning is what we assign meaning to. And our life needs to be lived, kinda like fast and hard, right? Because what's the alternative? You're gonna just live in the Mirror and file your place in line like a good human, and do your consuming and do your things that you need to do, follow that blueprint, do all the right stuff the right ways, and then— get older and go out to pasture. God! It's so dark! But here's the light in it. When you can drop Importance on life or death, right? And sort of approach this modality, Transurfing, the modality of Transurfing, and go step into your life with this idea, And this is something I've been working on for— God! It's been a long time coming. But I've always sort of like had this innate sense that death is right around the corner, and I think that's why I've done so well in my life. And I know that sounds kind of odd, but like I've done big things, like really big things that a lot of people are waiting until retirement to do, and I've already done them. Because I definitely don't wanna get to this place where— I'm building up all my resources in my life so that then later on in life I can experience something that I've always wanted to experience. Experience it now! Right? Experience it now! Find a way to experience it now. And in this approach to reality, you know that life is short, death is right around the corner, And, you know, it's like my friend— I don't know if he'll watch this video. It would be funny if he does. It's like my friend has got depression, and he'll text me and he'll be like, "Oh man, my depression's super bad today." And I'm like, "Don't trip! You're gonna die soon, so it doesn't really matter." So, when you can go into reality with a very, like, realist approach to life and death, and apply these techniques, It's powerful stuff! And you can start living today all of the things, like I have, that most people are waiting for retirement to do. I've already bought the sailboat and sailed it by myself and lived on it, which is a dream that a lot of retired people have, right? I've already lived that life. I've already traveled the world, like, God knows how many times. I've started businesses, I've done things, I've moved around in my external environment at great lengths, right? And again, I really do attribute it to this very healthy yet nihilistic take on life and death. So, before I run through my 5 things that I'm ready to run through, remember to like this video and comment and subscribe and all that stuff. Join us on the Facebook group, International Transurfing Institute Facebook group. And reality_transurfing Instagram. All the links below for the courses, Reality 2.0, Tufti 2.0. Maybe I'll do a Death 2.0! How to Transurf Death! Hey, that's a good course, right? So, okay. Number 1, right? Drop Importance on life, and also drop Importance on death. There is a book that I read. Throw up a pic of it here. I can't even recall the name of it right now. But it's a— I believe it's Ernest Decker. It's this book that essentially states that everything that we do as human beings is in response to a fear of death, right? Like, to satiate this need for survival, or to help us feel like we're safe. Surviving, or protecting our survival, right? And oftentimes, it's in these movements and actions and thoughts and all this kind of stuff that isn't even conscious that we keep ourselves small, right? Because we're fearful of certain attributes of external reality to the extent that we keep ourselves small. This is why a lot of people adhere to the conventional blueprint. Of life, that you do everything a certain way, and you build your nest egg, and you pay your house, and you do all of these things, have children, get married, to help your rate of survival. And this is where human— like, the human condition is so fascinating! Because— On one hand, we do all of these things to ensure our survival, yet on the other hand, most of us do not like our lives. So, it's like, what's more valuable to you, surviving or enjoying your reality? Right? And this is exactly what my point is on the drop Importance on life, right? And dropping Importance on death too. And I would highly recommend this book to anyone that has been playing it safe their whole life, because this book is gonna be, like, incredibly eye-opening. And if you've been playing it safe your whole life and you are now approaching a time where you're like, "Oh my God! I just wanna live! I wanna do what I wanna do! I wanna go on adventures! I wanna be crazy and live and—" feel life, right? Then understanding why you have structured your life the way that you have, from this perspective, from this book, it's immensely valuable. Because you realize that, just like Tufti says, we're all just like running this Script, right? It's just a Script! It's just a Script that we've adhered to, and it's kinda like, The life Script. So, number 1, dropping Importance on life. It's a really big one to liberate yourself, to allow yourself to be free, to free yourself from the Script. So, number 2, what do you want? Heart and Mind Coordination. This is a big one. And at the end of this, I'm gonna talk about something that really helps me in my daily life, right? A point that helps me. Stay connected to why I'm doing what I'm doing. And this is really sort of what it's about, asking yourself, "What is it that I want? And what is in line with what my heart wants? How can I actually live that version of reality today and position the other parts of my life, or manage the other parts of my life to incorporate—" this desire, right? To turn the desire into an intention and actually start living that thing now. So, it's like if you're in your 50s and you're watching this, and you're like, "Oh my God! 13 more years and I'm retired, and I can buy the sailboat, and blah, blah, blah." Do you wanna buy the sailboat now? Do you wanna live that life right now? Because your world will help you live that life right now if you want to do it. You know? What if you don't have 13 years? What if you're waiting 13 years to do something, and then 10 years from now, you get hit by a bus and you never actually arrive to that 13-year mark where you do the thing? Wouldn't you be better off if you just figured out a way to do it now? So, I'm all about doing it now, right? Waiting for something. And I'm not trying to, like, totally badmouth planning. I'm actually a really good planner in some areas of my life. But at the same time, I don't ever put anything on the back burner, right? I can plan, but if I feel an intense pull to do something, I'm absolutely not about ready to stop myself and wait until the pieces all come into play. Right? So, what do you want, and how can you actually start living that today? 3) When will you act? Right? So, this is for people that don't have the plan, but they have something that they want. Say you've always wanted to be an entrepreneur, you've always wanted to be a business owner, you've always wanted to travel the world, you've always wanted to do something, and you don't actually have a plan in play. You're not quite to the state right now where you can make the moves. You're still thinking that that's like somewhere off in the distance. So, when will you act on it? Right? When will you start taking what it is that you want, making choices to support your intention, and actually start doing it? If you don't know, then chances are you're probably just going to pass those opportunities right by. Like, you gotta have the intention, otherwise you're just free-floating, right? And unless you're willing to actually set the intention and grab something and do it, then you're missing the boat, right? You're missing the boat. At least this is how it is for me. Now, I understand people have different processes, totally get that, right? But dissecting what it is you want and either coming up with a plan, doing it now, or asking yourself, "When will I act?" Right? And again, remember the Mirror. A lot of people fixated on the reflection, waiting for the Mirror to move. "Ooh, I'll act when something happens." No! Move yourself first and make that something happen in the Mirror. Then the Mirror opens up, and Outer Intention brings to you exactly what it is you need in order to fulfill that intention of yours. Not the other way around, right? It is absolutely not the other way around. 4) Run that Negative Slide. Okay. So, This is a very interesting part of how I live my life. And I really do believe that a lot of my success comes from the Negative Slide. I'm a huge advocate for the Negative Slide. I'll put the link below to a video just talking solely about the Negative Slide. This isn't something you live in, right? This is something you run once in a while. I run mine probably, I don't know, once every couple of months, to just sort of eliminate any Excess Potential about finances. And it absolutely works! So, what I do is I envision myself older, right? Like, I don't know, 70s, 80s. And I don't have anything. I have, like, a little studio apartment that I rent somewhere. That's dirt cheap. I have a bed, I have a desk with a computer, and whatever I'm doing intellectually that will also probably help me pay my overhead, pay for my living expense. And maybe a little dog. And I don't have a car. And I don't really have any savings, but I don't really need any money, because I don't have anything. I just have to pay my little overhead. And then that's all, right? That's my life. It's kinda like my worst-case scenario, if you will. But in me running this Negative Slide that I'm alone, I live in a little rented studio, I don't have much, but I don't need much, I sort of release myself from this idea that I need a bunch of money. Or, "I need to make big financial moves because I have to secure that retirement," right? And do all those things, follow that blueprint, set myself up, and all this kind of stuff. Because that is pure Excess Potential. What if reality has a different idea for me, a different plan for me, right? That is pure Excess Potential. So, in me running this Negative Slide of my worst-case scenario, I actually release myself, and I think to myself, "You know what? That actually wouldn't be that bad! I wouldn't have to worry about much. I wouldn't have to worry about landscaping. I wouldn't have to worry about managing finances. I wouldn't have to worry about having stuff to lose. I would be a hardcore minimalist and just have a nice comfy bed, my intellectual work, or whatever it is that I do for money at my little desk." my little dog, and some nice food in the fridge, and I go out for a lot of walks, and I do what it is that I do. That's my worst-case scenario! So, in running this Negative Slide, I'm releasing myself from any resistance to make big and sort of crazy moves. Because when I decide I'm gonna do something, right? Like, A couple of months ago, I made a pretty big investment in something, and it was kind of outrageous. And this is when this sort of negative Slide scenario really helps me. Because instead of my mind going, "Well, no. Wouldn't that money be better going into something safer, in a 401? And you gotta structure your thing like this and like that." I go, "Mm, nah, it doesn't." Because if that negative Slide happens, it's actually okay. And sure enough, I just made this investment like 2 or 3 months ago, it's already made me a pretty substantial amount of money. But it was kinda considered unsafe. So, it allows me to make moves that my heart is calling me to make, and not have a fear that I'm going against that blueprint and I'm gonna mess something up, right? I know I'm probably getting a little bit off topic here, but whatever. It all kinda falls in line with— how I perceive reality in regards to moving through life into those later stages of life, life and death, and letting the Excess Potential dissipate to the extent that I can actually make moves now and live now, and live to the fullest right now! Right? Because that's what it's about. Okay. So, number 5. This is a really interesting one. And I love this! This is some hardcore stuff right here! Okay. So, I believe this is in "Belzebub's Tales," which is Ouspensky, which was a student of Gurdjieff, if I'm recalling it all correctly. This idea that is presented in the book is that before you die, You have 4 seconds where you feel very, very intensely what your life was about, right? So, if you were an incredibly good and giving person and you really did right by your life, right? You fulfilled your purpose, you lived with meaning, you lived with heart, all the good stuff, that 4 seconds is gonna feel like ecstasy. If you were a bad person who did shitty things to people and you never lived, and you made excuses, and you remained depressed, and you never tried to help yourself out, and you never evolved as a human being, that 4 seconds is gonna feel really, really, really shitty. So, I used to think, when I first started this, that I was doing this to, like, make a difference. Right? That I wanted to make a difference, and I wanted to bear my mark on the world, right? Do something good for humanity. And that is somewhat there. But in the beginning, that was my driving thing, right? That was the wind in my sails, that was the force that was leading me forward. When I found this part of this book and I read this, I'm like, "This is what I want. This is why I'm going to live the way that I'm living now. I'm going to live it for that 4 seconds at the end." Right? I'm gonna make certain that that 4 seconds feels absolutely fucking amazing. And I— feel it and know that I absolutely brought it, that I didn't fear anything, that I didn't hold back, that I didn't play it safe, that I didn't put way too much importance on that blueprint of life, that I just kinda like balls out went for it. This is what I want that 4 seconds to feel like, right? It's like I lived it really, really, really hard. Now, I know that's not for everyone. So, this is what I'm gonna leave you with. You asking yourself today what you want that 4 seconds to feel like at the end, and what you want the essence— of your life to be about, right? What you want the essence to, like, of your life, what you want the essence of your life to be. And if that is to culminate all your years alive, if that is to culminate into a sensation that lasts for 4 seconds at the very end of your life, what do you want that sensation to feel like? Do you wanna feel like, "I didn't live it," right? "I didn't do it. I didn't be it. I didn't have it. I could've done more. I should've taken that leap. I should've done that thing. I should've—" You know, "should'ves," "should'ves" and "would'ves" and "could'ves" and all that kinda stuff. So, you're gonna die! You're gonna die! And— How do you wanna live? How do you wanna live knowing and approaching life maybe from a little more of a balls-out kind of vibe? If you're into that sort of thing! I know that a lot of people aren't. You know what, I totally get that, and I respect it as well. But if you feel as though you're not living now, maybe, Run through these things and see how you can step out into your day tomorrow, or today, with a new fresh take on life, that it's short and it's gonna run out. So, do what you wanna do, right? So, sorry if it was a little dark, y'all! But I love this kind of stuff! Let me know your thoughts! Comments, like, subscribe! Let's talk about it on the Facebook group! And I'll see you guys later! Bye!
