How To Neutralize Beliefs That Hold Us Back w/ Reality Transurfing

In this motivational talk, Renee Garcia urges viewers to recognize and discard "common beliefs"—unexamined ideas adopted from others that can limit personal growth. She explains how such beliefs spread through social reinforcement and fear, and proposes a step‑by‑step diagnostic framework for testing them: identify the belief’s origin, ask why you accept it, determine who benefits from you adhering to it, and gather personal evidence before deciding. Garcia illustrates the framework with three personal case studies—launching a jewelry business without capital, buying and learning to sail a 42‑foot boat at age 33, and starting a YouTube channel at 40—each of which defied skeptical external opinions and led to success. She emphasizes that taking small, evidence‑gathering actions, rather than passively accepting hearsay, allows individuals to rewrite their own script and align with their unique circumstances. The talk concludes with a call to action for viewers to challenge their own limiting beliefs, experiment, and affirm the mantra “My world is taking care of me.”

Hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia, and today I am going to do a talk on something that I feel very, very passionately about, and I haven't done a video on yet! So, this is a big one for me, and I have a number of personal examples. That will highlight the awesomeness of forgoing the common beliefs, or bewaring the common beliefs! So, before I get started, remember to like this video and comment below "My world is taking care of me" to enter my daily giveaway for my Reprogramming stickers! And Reality 2.0 on Teachable, down below, y'all! Check it out, it is lit! So, common beliefs! Beware! What does that mean exactly? Well, we have all kinds of common beliefs floating around in our external realities, in our own minds, things that we have chosen to believe without actually seeing it for ourselves. And also with others, right? Others have adhered to common beliefs. Via other people or things they've heard in their environment, which aren't really founded, then they are pushed to others who adhere to them. And before you know it, you can get a group of people who all collectively agree that something is a bad idea when no one has actually tested it out for for themselves, if that makes sense. So I came up with a little diagram here of what, what you should do if you feel you are participating in a common belief, or if you are agreeing in a common belief without challenging it, especially if that belief is hindering you or something you want to do, or your growth in a particular direction. So I know this seems a little ambiguous now, but I'm going to break it down. So let's say that you want to start a business right now. Okay. And somebody says to you, oh, well, you know what, starting a business in a global crisis is never a good idea, right? And then you kinda tune to that belief, and then more people start maybe popping up, maybe you see something on the news that goes with that line of thinking, right? Don't start a business when there's a pandemic or a global crisis. So then, all of a sudden, you're hearing and seeing and experiencing— this affirmation in this belief. But do you actually know anyone that has tried to start a business during a global crisis? No, you're just choosing. Then if you let it affect you, you're just choosing to adhere to this common belief because it is the vibration of your environment and it's captivated you and you're scared because you don't want to make a mistake, right? So the best thing to do— I mean, this, I'm being sarcastic here. The best thing to do is to listen to that common belief and then you don't start a business, right? So obviously, again, I'm being sarcastic. The best thing to do truly is to try it on your own, or at least go down the path of steps that you can see in front of you and disregard the common belief until you have gathered enough evidence on your own, not just hearsay, not just people's ideas when they never even did it themselves. You gather the evidence to come up to find your conclusion if it's a good move for you or not. So, taking that example into this little scenario here. Let's say you wanna start a business. During a global pandemic, and somebody tells you, "Not a good idea!" So, where did this belief originate? This is kinda like what you should do to break it down and ask yourself like, "Is this actually a real thing, or is it just a common belief based on something that's actually not real?" Where did this belief originate? Who knows! Right? Who knows where you can't start a business during a pandemic? I'm sure there's plenty of businesses that could thrive right now, if you choose to believe it! Why did you choose to believe it? Well, that's an easy one, keeps you safe, right? A lot of people choose to accept common beliefs because it's safe. And the reason that people propagate common beliefs to others— is because it kept them safe, and if they see someone else not do it too, that helps them to feel better about them not doing it! But then if they see somebody else doing it, that challenges them! And people don't want to see other people doing things they themselves can't muster up the bravery to do on their own! So, it's kinda like— You know, it's just you wanna reinforce your ideas. "Oh, hey, don't do that, that's dangerous!" Well, is it really dangerous, or are you just scared and you're not doing it and you don't wanna see me do it then? Right? So, why did you choose to believe the common beliefs that you have? Have you encountered hard evidence that it's true? So, getting back to— You are the one that's supposed to gather evidence and information and material to sort of come to your own conclusion, kinda like it's a scientific experiment, right? "Is this the right thing for me to do?" But don't base a decision purely on the common beliefs of others! And lastly, does it benefit someone else if I adhere? This is getting back to the fearful person giving you the advice not to do the thing because they're scared!, right? This absolutely benefits them! Because if they tell you "Hey, don't do that, you're not gonna succeed!" and then you go and you succeed, then they feel like crap about themselves, right? So, is there someone benefiting from you not acting? So, on the positive side, "Can I have another experience?", right? "Can I rewrite the script suiting my own circumstances?" This is a big one! Yeah, maybe the way you're pitching it to someone else, with their circumstances, they don't think it sounds like a good idea! But on your layer of reality, with your current circumstances, maybe you can incorporate what you're working with that's different than other people, and maybe you can make it work for yourself! And I'll give you an example in a moment here! Have you tried— This is the best way to find out! Try! Doesn't mean just go all in and open your business, right? But at least try to get out there to get some energy circulating, to get some information coming back to you if it is a good idea or not! So, lastly, what is better, to try and find out on your own, or to not try and follow others because you are adhering to the common beliefs? So, when I— well, all of my businesses, and a lot of my personal endeavors too, when I have— there's been tons of common beliefs thrown at me that I have decided to throw away and do my own thing and learn on my own. And looking back on it, if I had listened to the common beliefs of others, I would not have succeeded, I wouldn't have even started, and I wouldn't have gotten to where I got! By throwing out those common beliefs that I was hearing! So, the first one was getting into the jewelry business! Somebody actually told me "You will not survive in this business because you do not have capital!" But you know what? I had a lot of other things going for me! I was trustworthy, and I was honest, and I was a hard worker, and I didn't need capital, because people gave me stuff to sell on terms, and I used this part of myself! To help build my business, and I became extremely successful at it, and I made a lot of money, and I made a name for myself! But if I would've listened to that person, that common belief, "You can't do a business like this without capital," I would never have started in the first place! Second, my boat! That was a big one! "This is outrageous! You're 33 years old and you're buying a 42-foot boat that you're learning to sail on your own? That's not a good idea!" Well, who had ever been a 32-year-old woman buying a boat on her own and learning how to sail it by herself? None of the people telling me! So, I learned that for myself! And I proved them wrong! You can actually buy a boat being a 32-year-old woman sailing it on your own, and I did so! And you know what? It blew everyone's minds! Now, getting back to "does it benefit someone else?" if I adhere to that belief. I know there were a number of people in that marina, there was at least half a dozen that never even took their boat out of the slip. Those were always the ones that were telling me it was too dangerous and I was in over my head, because if I took that boat out of the slip and sailed it to the Channel Islands on my own, it was gonna make them look really, really bad. So, they benefited from me adhering to to that collective common belief that you should not, being a 33-year-old woman, sail a 42-foot boat on your own! And lastly, this one! I have had so many people tell me "This is not my world! You're 40, don't do YouTube! You're gonna look ridiculous!" I've actually had haters say stuff to me about how it's not for me and it's pathetic and blah blah blah blah blah! But you know what? I'm going to create my own, right? Rewrite my own script suiting my personal circumstances, and I'm going to work it out so I can actually create my own experience! But I'm definitely not going to listen to those common beliefs that you just can't start doing something like this! Because you know what? You can, and I'm proving it wrong! So, are you adhering to some common beliefs right now? Maybe it is that you can't start a business without money. Maybe it is you can't do something because of the pandemic. Whatever it is, don't just listen to people telling you something or listen to what the media is saying. Get out and try to gain enough information on what exactly the case is by you taking steps. Instead of just assuming what you hear to be true! And again, if I had listened to the common beliefs of others, the common advice on their opinion of things, I would not have seen so many beautiful things that I have seen by carving my own path and doing the thing! With money, I would not have made the money in all the different businesses that I had! Because people were telling me that you couldn't do that, that was silly and it isn't gonna work. All of my businesses, people told me not to do, I did and I succeeded! So, what common beliefs can you chuck out today and start taking steps to gather some information to make a decision on your own, possibly rewriting a new script— that suits you and your circumstances. So, remember, "My world is taking care of me. Everything is going according to plan, and things are working out beautifully and will continue to do so with ease!" Thank you so much for watching my video, everyone! And have a good day! Bye!
