Hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia and this is Transurfing TV! Today I'm going to be tackling this bitchin' concept here, sadness! I sort of notice in my social media that collectively, at times, things to be— things seem to be going like really well for people. And then sometimes there's a lull. It's really weird. It's like everybody's sort of riding the wave at the same time. Very, very interesting, isn't it? And this is one of those times. There's a lot of people asking about Induced Transitions, depression, things not going their way. And I did a video, not sure if it's going to come out before or after this, on emotions. And Transurfing does not mean that you do not embrace your emotions, or you suppress your emotions. Transurfing is very much a non-dualistic modality, in the sense that everything's got its own meaning! It's about your— how you define whatever it is you're encountering. So, if you are experiencing emotions in your life— redefine them for yourself! They don't necessarily have to mean something bad or something wrong, and you can rewrite that script! Remember, before I get started, to like this video and comment below "My world is taking care of me"! A very good statement to remember if you are in fact suffering with sadness, depression, any down feelings at the moment! These definitely, definitely, definitely help! And Teachable, Reality 2.0 down below, check it out! Y'all. So embracing sadness. This has really helped me exponentially. I know I use that word a lot, but it is, it is powerful to declare something in your life okay. And once you do that, you become more and more and more okay with it and the less it affects you. So I actually have a number of reasons in my life right now to be sad. My sister's battling cancer, she just started a second round of treatment yesterday. I, for those of you that know, have recently cut out my parents. This was a big decision for me, and I do struggle or am challenged by it in my life. Like, one day I'm okay with it, the next I doubt myself a little, and I'm going through some emotional stuff with it. So, it definitely is challenging. But I do find myself at times feeling sad, right? Things aren't exactly the way that I would choose them to be, but you know what? They're the way that they're meant to be. And it's up to me to adapt because if I can, I am going to connect to that higher version of myself. I am going to continue to ascend to those higher lifelines and all is going to be well in my reality. It is about me tuning myself to the events rather than me trying to control the events, fight upstream, use inner intention, all that bad stuff! And if you are struggling, challenged, experiencing sadness right now, and you are trying to inner intention your way the hell out of it, it is just going to show— your world is just gonna show you more of it! In your life. So what I like to do is I like to first acknowledge my state of being. I feel sadness, or I feel anxiety, or I feel depression, or I feel happiness, whatever it is. Because as soon as you call out that emotion to yourself, you don't lose yourself into it. You wake up, you acknowledge it as your state of being, and then you're able to actually work with it. But if you don't do that crucial step, you sort of become lost, getting lost to it, and you can experience a very fast and vicious cycle downward if you don't catch yourself. So if you are in fact experiencing sadness right now, what should you not do? Not, not, not do. Well, first of all, Do not make any decisions based on your sadness. If you're feeling sad and you're like, oh well, my romantic partner's gotta go, or I've gotta quit this job, I'm feeling sad, I'm feeling depressed, I hate my job. Don't do it in that state. Now you can pay attention to that state. As Vadim Zeland says in the book, one of the best signs is your inner state of comfort or discomfort. So definitely assess Assessing things while you are in that state is fine, but wait until you're out of it a little bit to actually take action. I know in the past I've been a very, very irrational person, person with my emotions. Before Reality Transurfing, I was the one that got lost in my emotions, made decisions based on my emotions, later regretted things, got myself into worse trouble because of doing so. So on and so forth. I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about. So, do not make decisions based on your emotional state. Do not get lost! Again, this is you not declaring to yourself "I see myself, I see my reality. I wake up, I am feeling sad", right? Call it out, whatever it is. See it from a place of lucidity, clarity, and awareness. Do not get lost! And spiral downward without acknowledging what exactly is transpiring. Do not allow too much sadness! Don't go like full hog on it, right? Because if you do that— again, getting back to the idea that whatever theory we adopt for ourselves, our reality will present to us more information, material, and evidence to support that theory, and it will show up in our lives exponentially. So, if you allow too much, it's just going to keep popping up more and more and more and more and more! So, the idea, what I like to do is— I'm feeling depressed, okay? Why am I feeling depressed? Compartmentalize it! Look at the rest of my life! Okay, well, my romantic situation's awesome, my financial situation's awesome, my living situation's awesome! Really focus on the things that I like about my life! And then focus on the things that are going right, and then focus on the things that I'm feeling depressed or sad or anxiety or whatever, and keep it contained to that. Don't let those walls of that little container come undone. And then all of a sudden you're just, you know, flying footloose and fancy free in the alternative space with nothing holding you back. And before you know it, you are in a full-blown induced transition on that bottom Lifeline! So again, kind of overstating here, but don't feed it overtly! Don't just continue to feed it and feed it and feed it and feed it! And then lastly, what not to do is involve others! Because we are very quick to express our dissatisfaction with ourselves and our external environment to other people! And if the other people in your life are not Transurfers, this can be information that adheres to them, that takes them on to an induced Transurfing! Induced transition, or starts an induced transition, and maybe they don't necessarily know how to get out of it! So, let's say that you are a Transurfer and your husband or wife or boyfriend or girlfriend or roommate or whatever isn't, and you put in their direction a bunch of negativity and sadness and depression and blah blah blah! They experience it, they go down, but then when you're doing the work to get yourself back up, you've got some Debbie Downer that you actually downed yourself, and it's going to make your time challenging! To get yourself back up, because you have that stuff sort of floating around in your external environment. So, self-contain. This is one of the what to do, right? Instead of doing that, self-contain. If I feel sad, if I feel depressed, if I feel some sort of negative emotion, I try to just go a little bit quiet with myself and keep myself contained to where I'm not gonna bleed it out onto my boyfriend, right? A number of reasons why he's doing his own thing, I don't wanna affect him! And second, I mean, if I wanna go talk to him about it and I really need some feedback, that's totally fine! But to just put that stuff in his direction, it's not benefiting anybody, and it's better if I just self-contain! So, getting back to the what to do! So, if I said don't make decisions out of sadness, the antithesis of that is to just chill out! Don't do anything! Netflix and chill, right? Hang out, do whatever makes you feel good! Take a bath, read a book, do feel-good stuff, chill, don't make any decisions! Wake up! Again, this is the biggest one! Wake up, "I see myself, I see my reality, I am feeling sadness!" You've just called it out and given yourself the ability to actually work with it then! Quantify it! This is a huge one! If I feel depressed, I say to myself "Okay, you got 24 hours of this!" You got 2 days. You can Netflix, you can take hot baths, you can do your sauna, you can veg out, you can eat junk food, whatever it is! But you're gonna do that for 2 days. You're going to really keep it into that little container. And then once that 2 days is up, or even maybe half a day before that 2 days is up, I start to reverse myself out of it. I start more with the positive thinking, I go out for a run, I do things to get my energy up. And I start to climb my way out of it. This way I have control over my emotional state. Keep perspective. This is big. This is you really acknowledging that like we have our ups and downs, things happen, we go through ebb and flow. So keep perspective. It's not going to stay like this forever. You're just experiencing this right now and just Just leave it at that, right? And seeking advantage, this is my final point! If you are feeling depressed and/or sad, or you have anxiety, try to seek out the advantage! What is this emotional state trying to tell you? What is this emotional state trying to teach you? How can you find advantage in you? Maybe you just need to take a break, maybe you need to turn your phone off, maybe you need to Netflix and chill for 48 hours! Maybe you need to experience that for some reason. Whatever there is, there is definitely an advantage there. Seek it out, and if you can't find it, acknowledge that it's there, quantify your time you are going to allow yourself into this— stay in that state, and go through these steps avoiding those. So, let me know your thoughts, everyone. Remember, "My world is taking care of me." Like this video and comment below. And thank you! Thank you so much for watching my video. Bye guys!
