My Workout Routine Health, Beauty, Diet With Reality Transurfing By Vadim Zeland Renée Garcia

In this candid vlog, Renee Garcia (the host of Transurfing TV) uses the principles of Reality Transurfing—particularly the ideas of "Importance" and "Pendulums"—to reframe her approach to diet, exercise, and beauty. She begins by rejecting the notion that anyone should rigidly follow a specific diet, emphasizing instead the need to discover what personally works and to let go of societal fads. Drawing on her own history of living in Los Angeles, a severe nervous breakdown, weight loss, and a period of extreme diet and beauty obsession (veganism, keto, expensive gym memberships, plastic‑surgery pressure), she explains how those external standards became a "Pendulum" that harmed her mental and physical health. After moving away from that environment, she describes her current lifestyle: a high‑fat, keto‑leaning but intuitive diet focused on quality proteins, leafy greens, and ample calories; flexible exercise that includes personal training, walking her dogs, and dancing in her studio; and a minimalist beauty routine that relies on oil cleansing, occasional DIY hair dye, and minimal makeup. Throughout, she stresses that self‑love, dropping importance on external validation, and accepting her body (including a 20‑pound weight gain) have been the most transformative actions. The video serves both as a personal testimony and a practical guide, illustrating how Transurfing concepts can be applied to everyday health and beauty choices.

I wanna preface by saying, I do not believe anyone should adhere to any diet. So, this is what Transurfing is about. Do you get what I'm saying? Do you need to drop Importance on some of this stuff, and maybe find a diet that works for you and stop caring about what the fads are, what the trends are? Hello, hello, hello, Transurfer and the Transurfing curious! My name is Renee Garcia, and this is Transurfing TV! And today on Transurfing TV, this is gonna be a video about workout, diet, and for the ladies that ask me beauty questions, I'm gonna answer a few. Questions that I've been asked on the channel and also privately. This probably doesn't seem like a very Transurfing video, but it actually really is a Transurfing video. Like, really, really is a very Transurfing video. Because I— Well, first off, let me state that I'm kind of in a weird place right now. I just filmed that video, "Vulnerability," and I don't know, something's kinda happened to me lately where I'm feeling very open. I feel like I have knocked down a bunch of walls and stuff that— I mean, you're probably seeing, like, my demeanor's changed a little bit. I'm being less showy, maybe. I didn't even bother fixing myself up after I was crying for half an hour on that video. I'm just kind of letting it just roll. I'm letting it roll. And there's a lot of fucking power in this! There's a lot of power here. And there's also a lot of power in this subject that I'm gonna talk about. It goes— so much deeper than diet, workout routine, and beauty routine. Before I get started talking, let me remind you to please subscribe to this channel and like this video, and any comments and questions below. Join us in the Facebook group, the International Transurfing Institute Facebook group. And follow me on Instagram. All course links below. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So, where do I start? I— For those of you that watched that video, 'Vulnerability,' I talked a lot about this persona that I had for a long time before finding Transurfing, this tough guy persona. Romantic partner used to— that was my pet name, 'Tough guy.' "Okay, tough guy," because I'd go into this mode. Where I'd get very like, "I'm gonna tell you what's what, and this is how it's gonna be!" And not in a good way, like in an importance-controlling, spokes tightly wound, all that kind of stuff. And it's actually very in line with this video today, what I'm gonna be talking about, which is, There's a lot here that has to do with self-image, self-hatred, not accepting myself, and surrounding this stuff, right? Diet— I know you probably can't see that, but diet, workout, beauty routine, all that kind of stuff. And let's face it, like, this was a pretty big part of our reality, making certain that we maintain our physical appearance, and also that we're healthy, right? I mean, this is trillion, trillion, trillion-dollar industry, health and beauty and workout stuff. And it's big. And I know a lot of— Krista, actually, was the one that recommended me to do this video, or requested me to do this video, rather, do a video on diet and workout routine. And I started thinking about this subject, and I'm like, "God! It is a meaty topic!" And I've definitely talked about it. I've talked about this before in the past on the channel. But the chord that it struck— and I'm sorry if I start crying. I know this probably doesn't seem like a video that would evoke somebody to start crying, but I'm in a very open place lately, and I am just super, like, I'm embracing it. So, if I say something that strikes a chord— and again, Abb, please don't edit any of this out, just keep it all in. So, my friend Krista asked me to do a video on diet and workout routine. I started thinking about it, and I thought, "God, you know, I mean, I eat a lot of protein. I'm a keto person. I try, to the best of my ability, to stay away from sugar, unless it's for entertainment eating, as I call it, or anything that's—" You know, I'm a very pure food person, like lots of leafy greens, lots of grass-fed steak, high-quality eggs, high-quality butter. Like, I spend a lot of money on protein and organic vegetables. That's pretty much my diet. And the workout routine, I have a personal trainer. I try to work out. I mean, I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not working out as much as I used to. But like, when you guys see those Dances, Dancing videos. If I'm not able to get to the gym that day, I'm like, "You know what? I'm just gonna dance." And I film a number of takes to get it right. And I do that intentionally so I can just be dancing and get my heart rate up and all that kind of stuff. So, if you're ever wondering why the Transurfing TV channel has Renee twerking on it, it's serving me in a number of ways. One of them, I just talked about on that video, vulnerability, right? Just doing what I feel called to do, and allowing whatever's going to come in my direction to just come. And I don't give a fuck, right? Like, I know that a lot of people find it shocking, but that's kind of what this is about, is stepping over some of those lines that have been drawn in the sand. For what reason, right? Some guy on the channel was like, "Oh, this chick's a fucking idiot dancing around with the book! And what kind of person in this position does that?" And I'm like, "Thank you! Exactly! I'm trying to do my own thing here!" So, and that's why I'm doing that. But a lot of it also is for exercise. Okay. So, back to the topic, so I don't digress too much here. I am much different than I was pre-Transurfing. When— and this is very much paralleling what I was talking about in that vulnerability video. When I came to Transurfing, I was fucked up, I was tightly wound, I was adhering to a bunch of standards. When I left Los Angeles after my nervous breakdown, I weighed 20 pounds less than I do right now. 20 pounds! And if you can imagine— I mean, I know you can't really see my figure here, but if you can imagine me 20 pounds less, I actually think, like, "How could you have let it have gotten that bad? How did I let it get that bad? And why?" And I look at— that version of me on that Lifeline, living in that version of reality. Because remember, there's like infinite variations. That was a variation of me that was adhering to a lot of standards, right? The LA standard. The LA standards. There were ways in which I— —didn't adhere, which I'm so happy now that I didn't. And I talk about this in my book, the fact that I didn't get a boob job in Los Angeles. But, like, people would ask me that I barely even know why I hadn't, because it was just such a standard there. And my Soul Fraile cried out, "Don't, don't, don't do that!" I actually had a surgery when I was about 30 years old on my— sinus passages. I had, like, one of these— I can't remember what the name of it is. But essentially, my nose was— I have a deviated septum up at the top, and it stopped one of the sinus passages from working properly. So, then, the other one started to overcompensate, and it created a bunch of problems. And finally, I had to have this surgery where they go in and they essentially have to clear it all out, because it's like all— dead stuff and inflamed, and I could barely breathe. I was having a lot of sinus problems. And just a completely random thing that happened to me. I didn't know, like, what— I didn't know what was happening. I just thought, "Oh, I have allergies," or whatever. But I go and I have the surgery, feel a million percent better after it. It was a little bit traumatic, but I got it done. When I go into my follow-up appointment, I'm not kidding you, the doctor tried to sell me a fucking boob job! He was an ear and nose doctor, and also a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. He tried to sell me on a boob job, and I was like, "Oh my God! I'm so happy that I saw through that stuff even then!" But for a lot of other things, I didn't see through it, like the weight thing and the diet thing. And that's probably why I have such a— why I have such resistance to Vadim Zeland talking about raw food, and why I stopped doing those Hacking the Technogenic System lessons, because I got caught by this Pendulum when I lived in Los Angeles, all these diet fads, and it really fucked me up mentally. It really fucked me up mentally. I mean, I was vegan for a number of years. Now, I wanna preface by saying I do not believe anyone should adhere to any diet. In particular, I'm not endorsing keto diet. I'm not talking negative about veganism. I totally believe that for certain people, vegan diet is 100% correct. I totally believe that for certain people, a keto diet is 100% correct. There's diets for individuals that allow grains, those that don't. Those that can handle sugar better, those that can't. I'm not trying to promote or talk down on any diet here. What I'm saying is to find what works for you, what makes you feel good, where you're operating at your highest level, your body is functioning well, you have energy, all that kind of stuff. And I know the fact that this video— I know that this video's titled, Twerking in Steak, or whatever I'm gonna title it, is probably a little controversial, and some people are gonna be like, "Oh my God!" Because this usually happens when I talk about food. This is exactly what I'm talking about, to not get caught up in, is fads and social constructs that have to do with diet. Somebody asked me today on one of the videos during the live version, "How many grams of protein should I eat?" And I'm like, "Fuck! I don't know!" Figure it out yourself! Figure it out yourself, right? So, this is what Transurfing is about, and this is why I'm remaining a Transurfing purist and not jumping onto the dogmatic, you know, hacking the Technogenic System thing with the diet, raw food. Because for me, personally, that really messed me up with my mind, but also my body. Not operating. I mean, I was in a really bad place. I was struggling with serious depression, digestive issues, veganism. I don't know what was going on, but every time I stood up, I felt like I was gonna pass out. So, I have found what works for me, and that's what I'm promoting, right? Is finding what works for you. But all of those different standards that I was adhering to when I was living in the Los Angeles area, like keeping my weight low— what I paid monthly for my gym membership! I went to Equinox, and I went to a private Pilates studio. And I'm not kidding you, I was paying monthly for my— workout stuff, more than what people probably make in a year, a lot of people around the world. And the amount of money that I spent on myself and my— I mean, I still do buy high-quality food, but all the other stuff, it was really just me being captivated by the health and beauty Pendulum in Los Angeles. I was really— one of those people that were like the annoying fucking— you know, the annoying fucking adherent to the Pendulum. Okay. So, how it's different for me now. First of all, the 20 pounds that I've put on my body doesn't mean that I'm less lovable, right? I thought that— This had a lot to do with the person that I was with in Los Angeles towards the end of my time there. But he was really hard on me with my weight. Like, he really wanted to have, like, super skinny girlfriend, and I bought into that, right? I bought into that. And I was always trying to— "Keep it down," and this and that. And I mean, it was really— just thinking about it actually makes me wanna cry. I thought that if I gained weight, that I would be unlovable. And putting on the 20 pounds, first of all, I mean, this is a pretty big thing. Sorry, I'm having a little bit of a hard time getting the words out here. It's because this is probably the meat on the bone for this video. Trying to fit yourself into a box with your physical attributes, the level of beauty you hold, your weight, all these different things that we try to conform ourselves to so that someone will love us, that's not where it's at at all. That's not where it's at at all. Me dropping that, learning to love myself and allowing myself to put on 20 pounds has been the biggest fucking act of self-love and self-care I have ever done in my entire life. This has transformed so much of the garbage that I was projecting towards my mirror that I'm not good enough, that you've gotta maintain this level of weight, you've gotta look like this, the amount of money that I spent on beauty products, the amount of money that I spent on clothing, all the different things that I did so I could receive some sort of love that I felt I was only worthy of if I was a certain avatar of myself. Fuck you! I mean, it's not that none of it's there. It's not there! It's not there! And letting all of that go, learning to love myself, letting myself relax with the diet a little bit, eating more calories. The amount of calories that I eat a day, because of my fat intake, is really, really high. Fat, for me, is my— source of life, butter, super fatty steak, all that kind of stuff, I sleep better, I have more energy, I am able to maintain focus, my life, my mind, everything about my layer of reality is better when I'm eating a lot of fat. So, that's my thing. And in this, is I'm a heavier weight, right? I'm a heavier weight, but I feel better, and I'm loving myself and my ability to care for myself, to love myself, to do the things that I need to do so I feel good, rather than looking for that external validation. Oh my God! It's huge! It's huge! It's huge! It's huge! It's huge! It's huge! So, my workout. Dancing, go to the gym, personal trainer, walking my dogs. I don't do all that fancy stuff anymore. It's the same with my beauty routine. A lot of the ladies have said, "Oh my God! Your skin's so nice!" And yeah, you know what, my skin is probably the best that it's ever looked. Part of the reason that it's the best, it's ever looked is because I've dropped Importance on the beauty products and the facials, and doing all the crap to my face that I used to do all the time. Talk about balancing forces! I would do all these things to make my skin look beautiful, and it would irritate my skin, and I would get the exact opposite results. I'd have irritated skin, breakouts. You know, all kinds of just problems that I was constantly addressing. I do one thing with my face now. I wash my face with oil. I don't use any face soap ever. I just put oil on my face. Usually, it's apricot oil or avocado oil, sometimes I mix them. I put oil on my face, I put a hot rag on my face, and that's how I wash my face. And I put the same exact oil on my face and all over my body to moisturize. I don't moisturize my face, so all I'm really putting on myself is oil. That's it! Just oil. And my God! Talk about a Pendulum just tearing me to shreds, the thousands, tens of thousands of dollars that I've spent in my life on beauty products. I could've just been using oil. I look better now, because I lowered my levels of Importance around that whole industry. And oh my God! It's been amazing! So, The mindset is really key here. The mindset is key. "I love myself. I love the way that I look. I'm perfect the way that I am. When I see a little extra weight in the mirror, I love that little extra weight. There may be a time in my life when I'm older and I look back on being a little more full and all that stuff." So, like— Sorry, guys, my dogs are barking. Okay. Sorry, guys. The dogs were barking at the FedEx guy, I had to run upstairs. Okay. So, where was I? It was in giving it up that I got everything that I wanted, right? It was in accepting myself, my little flaws, allowing myself to put weight on, dropping Importance on the whole thing of— the money and spending the money and trying to do the thing. Now, I do what I want. If I don't wanna work out, I don't work out. If I wanna just dance around my studio for my workout, I do that. I eat what I want. And it's more about me eating the right things than not eating the wrong things, right? So, what I mean when I say this, is there was a point in my life where everything was like restricted. You know, calories were restricted, fat was restricted, sugar was restricted. There was all this restriction going on. And what ended up happening is I became very unhealthy. My hair wasn't full, my hair fell out all the time. I was super skinny. I looked like shit. People would ask me if I was okay. I actually write this in my book, the story of— One of my clients in the jewelry business came to pick up a piece of jewelry from my office, and later on, she texted me and told me that my weight had really concerned her. She didn't say "weight," but she just said, "You know, you looked so—" I think she said, "Skinny, and it just really concerned me." And it was in letting all of that go that I got everything that I wanted. That was the reason of why I was doing all that stuff, right? I was doing that stuff so I could feel loved. What an amazing— my God! Stopped doing that stuff, I ended up feeling like I love myself, rather than abusing myself with calorie restriction and excessive working out and adhering to all these standards. I ended up loving myself. So much. And in this, people started to love me for real reasons, not because I was a double zero jeans and all this crap, you know? So, this is kind of where it's at, is like it's not in stuffing yourself into a box, it's in letting yourself out. Finding the ways in which you can feel beautiful, healthy, thriving, alive, vital, all that kind of stuff. And like turning away from this Pendulum of beauty standards that kind of suffocates a lot of people. Lastly, for the women that have stayed to hear my little beauty routine, it's kind of simple, really. I get my hair bleached, like, maybe once. A year, twice a year, maybe. And I let my grays grow. I know you can't really tell because of the lights, but I do my own hair. I put my own hair dye in. This is Unicorn Hair. I think it's the crimson color. I can't remember what it's called. It's by Lime Crime. It's all natural. It's just a dye, so it doesn't damage my hair. And this is what I do! And these are just various— stages of it washing out, right? So very little importance on my hair. I'm not— I know a lot of people are like, oh my God, you must go to the hairdresser all the time because your hair is always a different color. Nope, I do it all myself and I put very, very little effort into it. Same with my beauty routine. I rarely buy makeup anymore. The only time I wear makeup is when I'm on camera. The rest of my time, 90% of my time, there's no makeup. And I put oil on my skin, I bathe myself in oil. I'm in my 40s now, so my skin is definitely starting to show a little bit of age, and I just drench it in oil! And I don't do anything to my teeth, I don't do any plastic surgery. I've never had any plastic surgery. I don't do anything to myself other than what I just described. So, that's kind of it. And it's pretty amazing that at 32 years old, I didn't look half as good as I look now! I was skinny, I looked unhealthy, I looked like there was something wrong with me. I'm healthy now, I put a lot less effort into it, I've dropped Importance on it a lot, and this is me now, right? I mean, I'm not— I'm definitely not complaining. So, did you like the video? Do you get what I'm saying? Do you need to drop Importance on some of this stuff and maybe find a diet that works for you and stop caring about what the fads are, what the trends are? And maybe spend a little less money on makeup, maybe learn how to do your hair on your own. I don't know. Just dropping Importance on it, learning to love yourself a little bit more, and getting that positive image going to your Mirror. That's where the beauty's at, right? That's where the beauty's at. So thanks for watching and much love to you guys. Bye!
