Renée Garcia & Xavier Waterkeyn Go Deep Into Reality Transurfing

In this Transurfing TV interview, host Renée Garcia talks with author and reality‑creation practitioner Xavier Waterkeyn about the core principles of Reality Transurfing and how they can be applied in everyday life. They discuss the distinction between inner and outer intention, the importance of reducing "importance" to avoid excess potential, and the practice of "completing the frame" by vividly imagining a desired outcome with all senses. Using surfing, sailing, and horse‑riding analogies, they illustrate how to align heart, mind, and spirit with the frequency of a chosen variation of reality. The conversation is peppered with personal anecdotes – losing a $4,000 laptop, finding a comb as a money sign, a car‑collision pre‑vision, and a lost backpack – to demonstrate how thought quality, resonant frequency, and inspired action lead to materialization. They explore the concept of the field of potentiality (alternative space), the role of higher‑self guidance, and the metaphor of an infinite library of scripts where each possible reality is a book. The dialogue also touches on narrative creation, pendulums (social‑cultural scripts), and practical tools such as identifying trigger words and using metaphorical “sandbag” removal to clear blockages. Throughout, both speakers emphasize that the methods are simple, require consistent practice, and can be used by anyone to create desired outcomes without over‑thinking.

Hello everyone, and welcome to Transurfing TV. I've got Xavier Waterkeyn here from Australia. He's kind of this enigmatic character that's been commenting on my videos that I've become obsessed with his comments because his writing is so unbelievably fantastic. So I Googled his name, I saw he was an author, and I decided to hold off on learning any more about him, and I'm simply going to ask him some questions about his career and his life. And I mean, you seem like you're very, like you have been Transurfing for a while without actually knowing the knowledge. I'm not being too presumptuous here.
Feel free to be as presumptuous as you like. The way I came across Transurfing by accident, what happened was that I was writing a book on reality creation, although I think of it more as reality awakening, because I think what happened, what is actually going on is that we are awakening to our power and our capacity to create, to create the experience of our reality. As Vadim Zeland says in his books, we don't actually create reality as such. It's already created for us. By some greater power. For want of a better term, let's call that God. We, however, have the power to choose our experience of reality. So in the process of researching, I came across Reality Transurfing, which I thought, that's an intriguing term. What's that about? I looked into it more deeply. Then I discovered your channel. I thought, oh, she's smart. She's articulate. I can learn from this. So I thought, okay. And that's what I've been doing. And then I started thinking, okay, I can add to the conversation because you ask at the end of all your videos, please, please subscribe and comment and give us all of these little energetic contributions. I thought, okay, I can do the energetic contribution at least.
Yes. And indeed you have been energetically contributing for sure. And I super appreciate it. So this is fascinating. You've actually written books then on reality creation.
I have recently written one, yes, which is not published yet because it's ghost-authored. So it's a friend-client of mine who wanted to do that. He wanted to have his own take on it and say things that he felt hadn't been said enough before. He felt that the whole system of reality creation is a little bit overcomplicated by people who tend to overthink it rather than just do very, very simple practices. One Stepping stone leads to another stepping stone leads to eventually— you can get there from here, but sometimes it takes a bit of time.
Exactly. I mean, that's really what my intention is with what it is I'm doing right now, because, you know, I know that people think I've got some crazy skills or that I'm doing something really amazing or incredible, but I'm not. I'm really, really not. All I'm doing is keeping my eye on my intention, my ultimate goal, that future frame, whatever you want to call it, and I'm just continuing to remain focused on it and taking steps, like, you know, every day, every, you know, I just, I just continue to keep going and I don't need to figure it all out. I just sort of let my world show me the next step, and then I don't shy away. And keeping my awareness heightened helps me to see what that next step is. And it's almost like my world's just doing it for me. I'm just putting in the energy to actually make the, um, the train go or the boat sail or whatever. Do you know what I'm saying?
Or as I think would be a more fitting analogy given the discussion, a better surfing experience. Because if you think about— I think it was really interesting that he called it Transurfing because here in Australia surfing is a big part of the culture. I personally don't surf myself. Nevertheless, if you think about the imagery, what does a surfer need to do in order to surf properly? A surfer needs a foundation, a good surfboard, a surfer needs balance. A surfer needs coordinated intention. A surfer needs to be able to look at the outer intention represented by the waves and currents of the ocean. The surfer is using minimal energy of themselves and using the energy of reality to get themselves from one place to another. And the better they are at it, the more spectacular the result. Because you see people in the beginning, they're just paddling in the waves and okay, they're getting used to the whole experience. And as they get better and better, you start getting people doing those incredible moves in Hawaiian waves that are the size of skyscrapers. And yet ultimately all you're doing is you have a man or woman on a very stable surface planing through a particular reality and then getting that. And I think that's an excellent analogy for what we're all attempting to achieve through our different processes or modalities.
Yeah, oh, absolutely, absolutely. And I think that One thing that has become more clear to me as I have gone down this path of self-development and awareness and utilizing these tools to create my own reality and all this stuff, is that there's an infinite number of ways that somebody can do this. It's not— there's, you know, I'm starting to see now, like, people that are religious people, like people that really do have a profound connection with God, they're just— it's just named something else, but they're doing the same thing, right? They're asking, they're asking for help from the outside rather than trying to just do it all on your own. And the all on your own is where I think a lot of people are extremely challenged and confused to why they don't have the life that they want to have. It's really about relinquishing that inner control, that inner intention, that will, the ego, all the stuff, and doing like what you're saying with your analogy with the wave, you know? The surfer would not be able to do that if it weren't for the wave, right?
The surfer is not attempting to generate the wave themselves. The surfer is not pushing the water. The surfer is simply taking what is already there and cleverly manipulating themselves in order to get that result. And that's so contrary to the way that most people want to go about doing things. Most people are trying to They're trying to squeeze the water out of the sky to make the ocean, and then they're trying to push the ocean together. And that just takes so much effort and so much time, and it's so unnecessary given that when we come into reality, we're already given a whole bunch of stuff. We're given these peculiar bodies with these peculiar appendages that are quite unique in the animal kingdom and allow us a repertoire of activity that's not available to so many other beings that are incarnate in other bodies. I mean, when's the last time a fish climbed Mount Everest?
Exactly.
I haven't climbed Mount Everest myself, but the point is the potential, the potential is there. There are so many interesting concepts in Reality Transurfing that are so useful as tools to be able to make better sense of things and just to live. And it appeals to the lazy side of me because I find it more efficient.
It's super efficient. It's super efficient and it really eradicates doubt, you know, it really eradicates doubt and the whole concept of advantage. It's like there's no more emotional charge for me thinking about, oh, well, well, will I be able to achieve this? Either my actions and my intention alongside with the outer intention of my surrounding environment, either it will happen or it won't. And if it doesn't, then that was for an ultimate good for me. So it's like I don't have any— my life now is a series of steps. Systematic movements. That's all. That's all it is. I'm not doing anything like— I'm not trying to do anything. I'm not, you know, betting on it. You know, I'm not like, "Oh, I gotta make this thing work," or "I gotta do this," or "What's gonna happen?" Oh, I'm gonna— you know, like anxiety is kind of a thing of the past, you know.
It's very much like that concept in Taoism of wu wei, creative non-action. And as there is evidence to support all theories, you find that if you do practice this intelligently— and by intelligently, I mean simply following a methodology. You don't have to be a rocket science to do this, right? Rocket scientists, we can go that deep. If you look into the deep theory behind it, if you go into theoretical physics, if you go into all of these sorts of arguments that thinkers have had about it. Yes, you can go quite deep, but at the end of the day, it's much simpler to simply follow a particular path of methodology. And as there is evidence to support all theories, you find that the evidence shows up. I'll give you an anecdote. Once I was on a bus and I was really, really tired. I had an exhausting day and I left my backpack behind on the bus. Now normally that wouldn't be a problem, but in the backpack was my $4,000 laptop, and I thought, oh crap, my entire life is on that laptop. What's going to happen? So the first thing I did was, okay, I'm not going to put any importance on it. I'm using this, the Transurfing language, to tell you what was actually going on, even though I wasn't thinking in exactly those terms. I won't put any importance on it. I will simply see myself holding my backpack in my arms again. So I went and did a few things, then I went and I took another bus because I thought I'll have to go to the depot to see whether anybody's handed it into lost property. Halfway to the depot, I would have had to have made a change of bus, so I got to that halfway point and I saw another bus across the road. I thought, maybe. I went there and it was that bus.
Oh my God.
And my $4,000 laptop was in that backpack.
I love those kinds of stories.
Yeah, it's a great— I'm looking there and I thought, and it's there, but the bus was closed. The bus drivers were between shifts and one had gone away and I was waiting for the next one to go. So I called the bus depot and I said, this is the situation I'm in. And they said, we're just going to check for you. Yes, another driver will come. Just hang in there. And so I'm there thinking really positive thoughts. I'm thinking, wow. What are the chances that I should catch right at that moment just by staying true to the vision without ever putting too much, as you like to put it, importance on something, not putting too much energy into it, calmly visualizing myself? Eventually, the bus driver showed up. I thanked everybody involved, gave the bus driver a hug. He didn't know— must have thought I was a crazy person. But I got my backpack. And then what I did when I returned back to where I had to be, which was at my mother's house, I stood in her living room and held the laptop in exactly the way that I had envisioned it. So I lit that. So basically, I stepped into that frame.
Yeah, you completed the frame. Yeah, I love it.
I completed the frame. That's something that, that's something that people don't often talk about. If you have a frame, complete it.
I'm going to write that down actually, because I know exactly what— I'm going to make a video on this, completing the frame.
Oh, great.
Yeah, because I know exactly what, I know exactly what you're talking about. And in one of my courses that I give, I actually talk about this. I talk about quantifying or imagining exactly what it is you want to achieve. And in this case, in the course, it has to do with finances. But the reason that I talk about this is because something happens to the human mind when it accepts that it's powerful, right? When there's that moment where you can say goal achieved, or at least like, you know, if you say I want to have a million dollars, if you're halfway there, you— it's quantified. So you know that you are making some sort of progress rather than it being ambiguous, right? It just being some distant thing that you might want, like with your backpack. This is the perfect example. So instead of you just saying, I want my backpack back, you actually envisioned holding it in a specific way. And when you were able to complete that frame like that, your brain registered that as you being powerful, right? You being in a position where it's like the neural pathway's been carved, that you can go from one point to the other, completing it, and then you sort of know that as a possibility for yourself without any ambiguity. So, next time, it's so much easier. You don't doubt, right?
Yeah, and this is the good— that's the great thing about completing the Frame. For a start, the Frame should be simple.. It should be a completed action. You should involve all of your senses. When I was going into the frame, I was not only visualizing myself from my inside. I wasn't looking at it like I'm a camera looking at me doing this. I'm from the inside doing it. And I'm feeling the laptop within the backpack. I'm actually feeling its hardness, its solidity. And I'm just calmly there in the living room creating the frame. And that's when it happened. And it was the calmness because you talk about the problems with creating too much importance. Sometimes I think some of these terms that have been translated from the Russian aren't the best. I think of it more as agitation because there's an appropriate energy for any manifest— any materialization or manifestation. I know you prefer the term materialization for these things, so I'll go with that. I mean, let me give you an example. Glass of water here, right? If I don't have enough energy, I'm not going to pick up the water. If I have too much, it'll end up all over my face.
Mm-hmm.
There's an appropriate level of energy, or simply an appropriate level of imaging, to get you to where you need to be. The reduction of importance is all about not creating turbulence and agitation, because we're talking here about alignment. Yeah, and I think that's a crucial point. When you're creating that frame, the alignment has to be heart, mind, spirit. If it's not good for— if it's not good for your spirit, your higher self will intervene and say, sorry, putting the parking brakes on this, I've got something better for you, or this isn't part of our new— our collective agenda. So sometimes heart-mind coordination is not enough. In fact, I'd say it always isn't enough. You also have to have that spiritual connection as well. It has to be appropriate for all those aspects of your being. Once you achieve that, hey, yeah, lots of stuff.
I totally agree with you. And getting, getting into heart and mind versus heart-mind coordination versus importance all of these states of being have a frequency to them, right? And that frequency—
Flavor.
It has a flavor, exactly. You are going to connect, and this is something that's come after 5 years of me really diving into this material. I now understand that my heart and mind coordination connects me with a sector of reality that's resonating at the same frequency. Right? This is me feeling in line with life. This is me getting what I want. This is me feeling, you know, not being confused about where I'm going or what's going on or anything like that. This is me sort of going down the path intended for me towards the things that I intend to have. This path is resonating at the frequency of the heart and mind coordination. It's the same with importance. So if you have a lot of importance, this throws off your frequency.
And well, it's, it's too much importance is like a false note in a chord. It might resolve to something better later, but in that moment, the energy is a bit skewy and the resonance is off because something is off key, literally.
Yes, yes.
And what we're looking at is keys to a reality. So we're trying to construct energetic keys made up of vibration, made up of intention, made up of thought, feeling, and of course inspired action.
Totally.
And that's another thing that's— that, that people tend not to think. Like, you can't just lie in bed staring at the ceiling. You can for a long while, while you're getting everything aligned internally, while you're getting into that center space, all of that great stuff. But at a certain point, you will feel some form of inspired action. And then magically, you have the energy to do something. Magically, all of a sudden, there's no— you don't even think about it. You just act. And then the— and then that gets you to the next stepping stone, to the next stepping stone. You might not get an immediate leap. Result. But if you keep just with that persistence, ultimately you get to somewhere you need to be. As a writer, I'm always thinking in terms of narrative. I'm thinking, what narrative will it take for me to get there? And the narrative is not just words, it's images, it's sensations, it's emotion, it's a whole bunch of stuff. It's more like screenwriting. Than not writing because you're trying to employ every possible sense and also senses that are not the conventional 5 senses. You're looking at quantum senses, intuition, foresight, envisaging. All of these are quantum senses that are not necessarily part of people's usual repertoire. But like anything, it's a skill. You acquire the skill through practice.
Yes.
And there's evidence to support all theories. So if you've got a theory, that says blah, blah, blah, then you're going to achieve something.
Oh yes. And I think evidence to support all theories, that statement alone has absolutely transformed everything that I believe about myself, about my reality, my relationship to it. I mean, it has been, um, You know, and the clarity alone on my own trajectory, let alone the trajectory of others, you know, when people— and I get a lot of people coming to me with their problems, as you can imagine. It's pretty insane, actually. And when people are coming to me, like usually I would say over— overwhelmingly, like 90-95% of the time, it absolutely— whatever problem the person is experiencing has to do with a theory that they've created for themselves, about themselves, or their life, or their quote-unquote problem. And they're simply following that narrative that you're speaking of. They're going, they're going down the path that they've carved out, that they've created, and they're wondering why, you know?
And it's fascinating to me because it's like looking in the mirror and wondering, why am I seeing this reflection?
Exactly.
And that's what you're presenting.
That's what you're presenting.
So how's it going to be anything else?
Totally.
Duh.
Totally. And the trippiest part of it is Aside from the fact that a lot of people don't— this, and it's no fault of the individual, because this is programming from our environment that teaches us that you've got these big problems and you gotta spend a bunch of energy to overcome them, or do all this problem-solving stuff, or whatever. This is all programming stuff. But aside from the fact that it's— that it's so oblivious to most people that have major problems in their lives, the other shocking fact of it is how easy it is to actually solve the problem, right? So, getting back to your story about the backpack. So, the way for you, the way that you connected with that backpack was 3 things. It was you, actually, for— it was you believing that there was a variation of reality where you could in fact reconnect with your backpack.
It was easy, and that was easy because in an infinite potentiality space, there is a reality, or an infinite— an infinite— why I like to put it, an infinite subset of realities in which that had materialized. Totally. That's the first thing.
And they're, and they're all there, right? This is the cool thing about Transurfing and the alternative space. Literally any variation is possible. So it is there. It's just our mind doesn't want to believe that there's a simple solution to a complex problem, right?
Well, if you think about it, it's, it's, it's logical that there should be an infinite number of realities because— in other words, where would God stop?
Exactly, exactly.
There's no stopping, and it's not finished, and it's never finished, because if it had stopped somewhere, then it's no longer infinity. So infinity, by definition, means an infinite, endless progression of creative, exuberant reality creation. So then The first bit, yes. Believing that there was a reality, that wasn't a problem for me. What was your next— what was it?
So believing that that variation of reality existed, your frequency— so getting back to the frequency, right, of you not having importance and throwing that energetic imbalance off with you looking to your reality like something was wrong, right? Because if you resonate at the frequency that something's wrong, you aren't going to connect with that variation of solution because those are conflicting frequencies, right?
Yeah, exactly. It's not congruent with the reality that I am surfing into.
Exactly.
It's like being on a surfboard and getting all jittery and nervous. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not gonna know what I'm doing. I'm just gonna paddle somewhere. Oh. Oh, the waves. Ah, yeah, that won't get you anywhere. See, you can see a wave in the distance, you say, okay, I'm going to aim for that, and I'm going to use the appropriate energy and the appropriate strategy and methodology to get there.
Exactly, exactly. You're, you're, you, you are not tapping in to the frequency where your intention exists if you've got high importance levels or if you're whatever, whatever emotion, you've got to be in line with that potential variation.
The potential variation answer does not exist in the same stream as the problem. They're different paths.
Exactly. And after I finish my 4 4 things for you to get the backpack, I'm gonna tell you something that somebody else told me that was really, really amazing that's right in line with this. So, accepting that the variation of reality exists, your frequency, your thought quality, right? Because your thought quality is very much in line with your frequency. You have to stay positive so you can continue to highlight the good. That sector of reality and that information, material, and evidence in that sector of reality that is in line with your intention. So if you're thought pulling—
and it's not even— and it's not even positive. It's not even positive. It's actually quite neutral. It's the ex— you get into an acceptance space.
Yes.
Something that you want is already happened after the initial euphoria. There's a period of acceptance. It's just reality. I have gratitude that it happens, but you get into that space. So what I did was I framed it in terms of it had already happened. I was already good, good with it. I was happy. I was grateful. Now we move on. So there was no agitation or excess potential there. So it's not always positive and like, yeah, no, no, no, no.
It's, it's, it's, yes, I like, I like The fact that you're saying that because it's almost like you're just establishing it as fact rather than it's a fact.
It's a given.
Yes. It's a given. It's not, it's not that, oh, this is going to work out into my favor. It's that, yes, this is going to work out in my favor rather than that hopeful, foolish, hopeful, you know, sort of, which is because that's all squirrely and squiggly as well.
That's all, that's all mixed up and that creates that excess agitation and potential as well.
Yep, that's an excess potential creator for sure! So, then the last one is the action, right? The inspired action! Because if you weren't willing to move on connecting with that final bus, you know, going over to that bus and seeing that it was in there, right? If you just thought, "Oh well, I'll, you know, get—" I'll give up! Exactly.
What's— it's hopeless. Oh, it's a Saturday. Oh, they're not going to be open. I'm going to have to wait. Oh, somebody's going to take it. Somebody's going to steal it. My entire life is going to go down the toilet. Oh, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, you just don't go there. That's the thought quality thing. You just don't go there. And then you take, okay, what's the appropriate step? What's the appropriate inspired action? Okay, I'll just do this. What have I got to lose? Yes, that's it. And I had nothing, nothing to lose but a bit of time and everything to gain. And in the end, I gained everything.
Exactly, exactly. It's pretty straightforward actually. And it's super, like for me now, this is embedded in my brain. In order for me to create my own reality, in order for me to see a result, that I want in my reality. I've got to assume that that variation of reality exists. I've got to be resonating at the frequency of that reality. I've got to take inspired action and keep my thought quality in a place where I believe that variation of reality exists. And now it's, it's easy. There's no ambiguity for me. I'm not— it's not— there's nothing there. It's like It's unbelievably practical. Unbelievably practical. Anybody can do this. That's what I'm trying to tell people now, right? Anyone can do this. You just have to obviously gain the skill and courage to do it.
And there is evidence to support this theory. I'll give you an example. You often talk about the playing card scenario where people just collect playing cards over a year, right? Now, that's weird because why would a playing card be on the ground? That doesn't make any sense. The other thing that's really weird is that in South— my mother's Argentinian, so I get a whole bunch of really weird Argentinian superstitions percolating into my subconscious over the years. One of them is that if money is on its way to you, you will find a comb on the ground and step on it. Interesting. Right? Yeah, right, okay, there's a comb on the ground. Now, if you think about it logically, how does a comb get on the footpath? For a start, people aren't combing their hair all the time.
How do the cards get on the footpath?
They drop. How are they going to drop it? Yeah, I know. So, there's no logic to this at all, and yet You go out in, even with that weird, weird, weird reality. Yesterday it happened for me. I thought, okay, I need to do something. I went somewhere I normally didn't walk and there on the footpath was a comb and I thought, oh, money on its way. I did a little dance on the, on the comb and said, thank you. Thank you. Potentiality space or whatever you call it, want to call it. What do they call it? What do you call it in Transurfing? The field of potentiality. Alternative space. Alternative space. So thank you, alternative space. Yet more evidence to support all theories. Great. It's just weird. It's just weird stuff like that. How it doesn't make any logical sense, and yet there it is in the showing up. Okay, I'll go with it. I'm not going to judge it. You said you had something for me at the end of the 4 Points. Yes.
Yes. So, so one of the ITI Facebook group members said that she, um, her and her husband were out on the boat, on a boat, and they were pulling up to the dock and the husband was getting off the boat and his keys fell out of his pocket into the water. And they, they were trying to, I can't remember what method they were using, but they were trying to, I think he maybe even went into the water to go down and try to find the keys. And then at a certain point, she realized the keys would not come to them if they were resonating at the same frequency as when they lost the keys.
Yes, because that's the reality, that's, that's, that's the mirror reflecting loss. Yes, it's incredible.
You're gonna get lost. So, so she, so she asked her teenage daughter to help, or son, I can't remember the story exactly, but she asked the daughter or son to help. And, and somebody had a magnet and they fashioned a magnet to the end of something and put it in the water, and within moments the keys appeared. And the person that was doing the fishing at the end was completely detached emotionally from the situation or the outcome, and the keys materialized.
They were happy either end, so they weren't adding a skew— a skewy, um, false notes into the chord. Exactly, exactly. There was, there was, there was no disharmony there. Yes. Everybody else quietened down. Yes. And they took— I mean, what are the chances of having a magnet on you?
I know, yeah. And all of a sudden just do it, you know. Yeah, I mean, it's a trip. And I've had a lot of things. The time that I first encountered one of these concepts sort of playing out for me, I was very, very young. I was probably 19 or 20 years old, and I had a job at a pet grooming store. And my, my job was to drive the van around and go and pick up the dogs from their homes and bring them back to the pet grooming place. Well, one of the days that I was driving around I was in a cul-de-sac and I went to go drive around. I was in like one of these boxy Nissan vans from like the '80s where my, you know, I couldn't really see a lot and it was an odd vehicle. But I'm turning around in the cul-de-sac. And I, for some reason, I don't know what it was, and to this day it absolutely baffles me still, but for some reason I envisioned me turning around in this cul-de-sac and failing to see a car and hitting it. And within 10 seconds, I actually struck a parked vehicle after I had thought, you know, and it was very confusing to me for a lot of years. I thought about that a lot of why that happened or why I had, you know, I thought that it was, I thought that it was the, I thought that I had a premonition is what I thought. I thought, am I psychic? Did I have a premonition? And then once I found Reality Transurfing, I realized it wasn't a premonition at all. My thought energy, that frequency, that action connected me with that event, period. It's as simple as that. There's no hocus pocus, there's no premonitions, and I'm not psychic. I simply saw that variation of reality, and in that moment, all of those little things things came into play, the thought frequency, the thought quality, the action, the assuming that that variation of reality existed. And sure enough, 10 seconds later, I connected with that event. So when I found Transurfing, I knew that was the— I found the answer, right? And that was sort of my—
I would argue perhaps there's another level of reality here as well. It is possible that your higher self sent you that image so that you could have that experience so that years later down the track it would— you could contextualize it and it made sense.
Oh God, that's a fascinating— that is a very, that's a very, very fascinating perspective for sure because—
because it's a bit, it's a bit like it's— this is why I'm talking about not only the heart-mind connection, I'm talking about the higher spirit. Sometimes your higher self— the few— I mean, some people even think of it, which is a lovely idea, the future version of you going in time to guide itself into becoming what it will ultimately become. And this process is continuous throughout eternity. There's always a higher version of you leading you on and stumble or stroll into the reality, you will ultimately get there anyway. That's so—
it's a fascinating idea.
You need to leave yourself open to these possibilities as well because there's evidence to support all the— all theories. So if you have an elaboration worldview which includes the possibility of higher selves and spiritual guidance Wow! The mirror is going to show that to you. What a surprise again! You see what I mean? Yes. No matter what you— as a writer, I create narratives. I invent people out of nowhere. They're not out of nowhere. They exist. I'm absolutely certain that the people I write about, whether I'm writing fiction or non-fiction, exist in some form of reality on one of the infinite scripts that's available. In the potentiality field. Fine. All I'm connecting to— I am certain that you and I are characters in someone else's narrative in another reality. Because it works both ways. Somewhere someone is envisaging versions of ourselves because I'm thinking about the self. You can't really explain the self just by looking at an individual person. I think of you— I think when I look at you, I'm thinking, okay, this is one version of Renee I'm talking to, but there are other— this is like— this is a version of Xavier talking to version Renee. This is like one leaf on one tree. This is another leaf on another tree. There are other leaves close to your tree that are the simple versions. There are the versions of me where we're having this conversation in multiple dimensions simultaneously. Simultaneously, and conversations veered in other directions. And so there are an infinite number of these videos that we have created as a result of our participation at various levels and in various dimensions. Yes, absolutely. So there's no reason to believe that we are confined to this version of ourselves. And I think it's difficult to explain in entirely the self and the self's journey through physical life by confining it to just this version of you here and now. Because otherwise you have to ask yourself, well, why would somebody choose the path of being a mass murderer or being born into extreme poverty or with, um, very severe health problems, etc.? It This way of looking at this makes you think, okay, that particular version of that person with that particular illness or that situation is part of a larger whole. And that what they're experiencing in that moment— in that moment, by me, in that lifetime— is simply something that the greater soul needs as part to fulfill a greater agenda. The danger, of course, with this thought is that you can justify anything with it. But you can also— but by justifying anything, well, you can justify any amount of hells, but you can also justify any amount of heavens. Yeah.
Oh, it's true. It is absolutely true. I mean, I— yeah, that idea has completely, like, it— you know, my intention to help people, having people come to me living a version of hell for themselves, you know, and me understanding kind of like what you were referring to with the leaf on the tree, right? That that's just a version of It's just, it's just a part of what's possible for them, and they're focusing heavily, right?
Like, so heavily that they're not assuming there's other leaves, other versions of themselves, other possibilities. It's like when you pointed out to me once in one of our little transactions on YouTube, was people just aren't aware of their options. People just aren't aware. And so your own story that you've been very generous in sharing with people was a story about not knowing the options that were available to you until you became aware of the options, those glimmers of possible— of other possible realities that you could surf your way into. And I would argue perhaps that your greater soul's agenda is to experience the satisfaction of not only creating the experience of your own life, other people create the experience of their lives and together you both, you, you learn and you progress along that learning and it's an incredibly fulfilling experience. When I write, I like to tell people I'm casting a spell and what is this? But we're casting, what is this Reality Transurfing? Or creative visualization, or even the law of attraction. What are these but different ways of casting spells? But they're positive, they're spells of life that are life-enhancing. Yes. They broaden the range of possibilities. I'm expecting that at some point I'll get so good at this, one day I will fall asleep and I will wake up in a completely different reality. And I'm not sure that that hasn't already happened to me several times because I often have glimmers of memories of other lives and other places that seem perfectly real. Yeah. I live that, but I'm not living that now. So how do I get that? And it could be that my consciousness has expanded to the point where I can deal with parallel realities simultaneously rather than just one, even though the one I'm experiencing at the moment is the one that's most vivid to me. Right now.
Yes, I know exactly, I know exactly what you, what you're talking about. And sometimes my joke is, is that, um, when you're talking about this, connecting with this higher version of yourself, and you know, we talk about this a lot in this whole genre of reality creation, connecting with the higher version of yourself and envisioning the higher version of yourself, and how I actually quantify my success with reality creation is I like to actually envision the lower version of myself and what that version of myself is doing right now. That version of myself that didn't take the cues from the higher self, right? The version of myself that didn't carve the new path or find Reality Transurfing or embark on the different endeavors that I've done, all that stuff. And for me, and I don't know if this— I don't know why I do this, but for me, that is— it's incredibly motivating for me, because that lower version of myself, let's say, in a bad romantic relationship with no money, struggling, maybe have problems with drugs and alcohol, fall or some other dire circumstances. That version to me is almost just as vivid as any of the versions that I've seen in between, you know, my first memory and now, right? I can imagine that that variation of me absolutely does exist. And I could probably— I could probably go there like that, right? But in realizing that, in feeling that, I also know that the antithesis, the other side is just as much. Maybe I'm a little bit, maybe I can envision that one a little bit more because that's kind of where I came from, right? Like very, you know, very base sort of living and around a lot of drugs and all sorts of circumstances that were, you know, not very attractive. So it's easy for my brain to go there. But just as much as I know that that variation exists, I know that the totally other opposite thing exists as well. I just have to trust that that version's there and continue doing what I'm doing because it seems like I'm connected. You know, it seems like I'm connecting, but I know that, like you're saying, that you could wake up in an entirely different reality. I feel almost like, yeah, I've done that myself, and I know that I could do it with either one, you know, the high one or the low one, like that. I could wake up and, you know, when you really get into this stuff, time almost is totally irrelevant.
And time's irrelevant to the extent that you think— very often people talk about when they're overly attached to memories and all of that sort of stuff. People talk about living in the past. You never live in the past. There is only the eternal present. Even the past is experienced in the present. And our future envisaging, even that future is experienced in our present. We can't get away from the present. So the past and the future are in a sense illusions in that sense. I, as in part of my work, I mentor writers. I help them get a firm grip on the narrative tools necessary for creating the spells that you cast with words to facilitate an experience for the reader. Or for the audience, or whatever you want to call them. It doesn't matter what genre it is, whether it's a short story, a novel, whether it's journalism, whether it's a computer game. It's all about narrative construction. It's all about what tools are available. Have you thought about doing this? Have you thought about doing this? What about that? I had a recent conversation, very interesting, with one of the people I mentor, and we were looking at her feelings about herself as a writer. And she was saying that she had the experience of seeing rainbows all over the place. With all of this stuff that's going on in the world, people are beginning to put up rainbows in windows just as a sign of hope. And she said, "I had that vision of people doing that because I had that in an earlier version of a book. I argued, I said, here's a possibility." The version of you that took all the right decisions and made those decisions so that you are now a fully published author, very successful, making a living from it, actually achieving all your ends exists. And that rip— and that energy has rippled into this reality. You're not that person yet because you haven't made all of those decisions, but you have to understand that that person is another leaf on the branch. And she is helping you now realize your potential. So open yourself up to these. You do it by— you're doing it by— okay, you're looking at lower Renee, but there's also higher Renee, for want of a better term. And these, all these various versions of you, including— I'm assuming I'm talking to middle Renee. Are helping each other in a sort of endless back and forth dance where together you make the tree stronger. It's not just about you. It's about a higher vision, a higher purpose, a greater version of you that also exists and has its own agenda, its own desire to expand its consciousness. Because if you look at it, Fundamentally, the fundamental impetus of all of this is growth, expansion of consciousness. You could, you could argue that this is God's game and it's the only game in town. And you say you don't know why you experience certain things, but to me it's obvious why you do them, because you're following the line of greatest consciousness expansion. You're following the path of least resistance because if you think about it, early— the earlier version of you was a very resistant version. You were resistant to all the good that was coming to you. I've recently discovered a very interesting exercise, um, which is about going— which is, it's about going through your triggers. Being— one of the things you can do is you can just identify the trigger words for you. So you can just write on a computer screen or even on a piece of paper in very large writing a trigger word. The trigger word, like for example, might be money because that's a trigger word for a lot of people. There's a lot of complicated, squirrely, icky energy that people have around money because it represents so many things to so many people, blah blah blah. So you look at money and you think, okay, where am I feeling this? And you might feel it as a blockage in your body, you might feel it somatically, you might feel it as You might feel it as a sound. You might feel it as anything. But you're going to feel a squirminess about it. So what you do is you change the metaphor. If it's this big ugly lump of something, imagine a flamethrower blowing it up, burning it up. Imagine putting a— if it's a big lump of concrete, imagine sticking a stick of dynamite and blowing it up. If it's like this yucky plaque that you need to hose off, get a high-pressure hose and hose it off in your imagination. You don't go into the story. You don't ask yourself, how did I become this sort of person who feels this way about money? That, that doesn't really— that really won't work. A lot of talky therapies are designed, and all that does is reinforce the narrative. You don't want to reinforce the narrative because then all of a sudden you're in that, that mirror space again, and that's not the way to do it. You set an intention to clear it. You set metaphors to clear it. And you do it that way. And the trigger words might not be— for example, if you speak more than one language, you might have to go through money, plata, argent, okane, whatever you do, geld, whatever you're speaking, and it might have different layers of squirminess depending on the language. Or it could just be an image. I once wrote a book for millionaire who was a little bit shonky, and part of his way of doing things was to inspire salespeople to sell real estate. And there'd be these glossy brochures about, "If you do this much, you'll get this much. If you do this much, you'll get that." And I would look at these brochures and I'm thinking, These are images of wealth and prosperity that mean absolutely nothing to me. It's not going to work on me because this is not speaking in my languages of prosperity and wealth. Yes. So that's just another one of these pendulums, right? Yes. You don't have to buy into somebody else's pendulum or somebody else's narrative. You never have to buy into somebody else's narrative. You can create your own. I can do all of the amount of I am wealthy, I am prosperous, blah blah blah, prosperity programming, and it will do nothing for me on that level because it doesn't speak to my soul. Yeah, I have to look at my trigger words and look at wealth and think, okay, what does that mean to me? What does prosperity mean to me? Right? For some people, it might very well work that they can envisage a screenshot of of their bank account and they can see this amount on it and they say, "Oh wow, great!" But that— and that might work for them, but it might not work for somebody else for whom, for whatever reason, that isn't resonating. You might need to do a bit of work on your triggers, your blockages, and look at all of that sort of stuff and then clear those blockages before you can even do the visualization exercise. Exercise. Because otherwise, you'll be— every time you look at that amount of money and that visualized bank statement on your screen, you'll be thinking, uh, this isn't working. Uh, this is happening. Uh. You don't want to be doing all of that. You want to be in a space where it's a given. It's a given. And there's no squirrely feeling inside me. There's no backlog of old garbage. As I said in another one of my comments to you, there are no sandbags attached to my surfboard.
Yes, exactly. I love— I loved that statement. It was awesome.
What I liked about that image too was the fact that, you know what, all we have to do with a sandbag is make a little hole in it, and while you're surfing, the movement of the surfboard in the water will just wash all that sand away. It'll go back into the ocean where it belongs. And as you clear it, the sandbags go away, and all of a sudden Oh, I've got all this maneuverability on my surfboard I didn't know I had before. Hey, I can do things I didn't know I had. I didn't know that these things were dragging me back. And, and because it's all about this drag, anything that interferes with your balance, your coordinated action and intention and movement, anything that creates that drag, it'll pull you and weigh you down. It'll stop you from— it won't stop you, but it will delay things. Absolutely. Will get in your way. Whatever analogy works for you. I just find that because it's Transurfing, the surfing and being Australian, the surfing metaphor really, really works for me. Yeah. Uh, because it's just part of the cultural zeitgeist. The, the pendulum for surfing already exists. So I can borrow from that imagery in a positive way and say, blah, blah, blah. In Aspen, you might think of skiing. Yeah, yeah.
In my mind, I think of sailing a lot. Sailing is—
exactly, exactly, because you used to have boats and all that sort of stuff. Exactly. So you think of— say, whatever— with— if you're in a farming community, you can think of riding a horse, and the horse is your— is a visceral animal manifestation of your intention and your power, and you and the horse ride as one. Or you just hop in the mud with a horse and— Exactly, exactly, because the horse has its own wisdom and knows how to get to places as well. You don't have to do it all alone. You can use pre-existing energies from pre-existing penduli. Penduli? Penduli is actually Latin. It's actually correct. Pendulums, to go back to English, that will work.
There is so much I want to touch on something really quick before this thought eludes me. You said, um, you know, about letting— putting a hole in the sandbag and letting sand go out. So in, in one of the courses that I give, I really do talk, uh, at lengths about— in regards to money, and this was specifically were talking about money when you gave this analogy, um, I talk about getting into what a person specifically wants money for, right? Because pendulums— and, and this isn't only with money, this is with anything, right? You can apply this to love or success or adventure or whatever. When, when you allow the pendulum's ideal of the adequate levels of that stuff, for whatever reason, yeah, this is when you have the bags attached to your surfboard, right? Because you don't know, you don't have a— your barometer for adequacy with the quantity is not your own. It's not your own, and it doesn't make sense to you when you are going off of what the Pendulum's ideals are. In regards to the quantity, right? So, so this, this is really getting, getting down. And, and somebody asked me, uh, yesterday, I think on the YouTube channel, is what, what is Transurfing? Is Transurfing self-serving? Is it your own? Like, there was a bunch of, you know, questions about what, what, what is it exactly? And in my opinion, and I should actually do another video, I should do a video on this. It is about you setting the standards, or you defining what something is for you, the money thing, the love thing, the adventure, the success, whatever it is. And then you simply fulfilling your own order, or your own prescription. And not letting your external environment place the sandbags on your surfboard. Because I believe that's what the sandbags are. If I'm— is this making sense?
What I would say to this is, let's go back to this idea of narrative. We're conditioned in our lives to listening to other people's stories. In any day or any month, we might hear more, we might see more dramatic depictions of people living out lives on television or in books or on newspapers about places that are far away from us that have nothing to do with our immediate reality. We see more of that maybe in a month than the average person in the Middle Ages would have seen in their entire life. Lifetime. Yes, so true. We're constantly swimming in this sea of stories. Now, that's very good. That's all very entertaining. And those things, like I said, another comment would do you, the media. I think it was the first time I ever made a comment. The media exists purely to get your attention and your energy. What other reason does it exist for? Yeah. So you've got these people, and I'm one of them. I'm guilty. You're guilty. We create narratives all the time. We're both in the narrative creation business. You're creating your narratives to suit your purposes. I'm doing it mine. But none of us are under any obligation to buy anybody else's narrative. That's why a lot of people find writing so liberating. And so people come to me and they'll say, "I want to achieve this." and I think, okay, fine, let's work out the mechanisms, the procedures, the methodology, the steps that you need to take in order to create this. And one of the first things is just clarity. Just get clarity about what it is that you want. Often, once you get the clarity, everything else can follow. Without the clarity, you have to squirrel your way around other ways to make things happen. The bags on the surfboard are just another way of representing old narratives. Yes. It's like—
That's what I was just going to say. It just dawned on me. The bags are the narratives of others, of pendulums, external feedback.
And it is literally baggage. It is literally baggage because— well, it's really metaphorically baggage. Baggage, but it's also literally— anyway, you know what I mean. So what I'm getting at is another way of looking at it is if you look at the field of potentiality, the probability space, the potentiality space, whatever you want to call it, think of it as a huge library, right? In this library, every book that could possibly be written exists. Every version of reality that could exist exists as scripts. Here is the script where Xavier and Renee have a conversation on this particular date. Here is— and that's on page whatever. There is that bit. Okay, now right next to that script is another script where on page whatever, the conversation plays itself almost identically, except in that conversation Xavier holds up his— this hand instead this hand, right? He did in reverse order. That was the only difference. And then next to that there's another script with another page, blah blah. So there's an infinite number of scripts that vary between the ones that are close to each other by a full stop, if that, right? A period, a comma there, blah blah, that might change the whole meaning, right? And that's one of the things I teach with writing it, because just punctuation is really important. So, even— I mean, I've heard a story once about the $20 million rocket that blew up on the launch pad, and when they analysed what had happened, they looked through the code, the computer coding to make the rocket do it, and what had happened is somebody had substituted a comma for a period. And because of that one little bit of programming error, The thing fired at the wrong time. Fuel was injected in the wrong place at the wrong time. See, rocket science really is rocket science. You've got to get it right. Reality Transurfing at that level, you have to get right as well. Fortunately, at the levels that we're probably operating at the moment, the universe is giving us a lot of give. Very, very much. I mean, if every thought that you had manifested, You'd be without the discipline and without the skill level of just keeping that thought intention in place. You'd be living in utter chaos because everything would be manifesting constantly and it would be a complete mess. It's a good thing that your higher self puts the brakes on every random thought, filters it out so that you don't find yourself, oh gee, wouldn't it be interesting to be in the middle of a volcano as it's blowing up? Oops. We don't want to be— we don't want to— we— and that's why I talk about very often this idea that we, in our endless journey of expanding our consciousness, we might have started off metaphorically as a hydrogen atom, right? Or some tiniest molecule of existence brought into being in infinity and being completely subject to the laws of physics and having no determinate predetermination. But as there is— even within a hydrogen molecule, there is going to be that sense of physis, that Greek word about growth and about expansion, the flow of nature. And so gradually over time, over millions and billions of years, we end up with things like you and me and the dog and the tree outside and all of these sorts of things that are all experiencing different versions of reality, and we're capable of doing more and more things. Like I said before, fish don't climb Mount Everest, right? Nevertheless, here we are. Who— I wonder sometimes, because this is an endless journey, how far will it go? At what point do you and I become gods? At what point do we become so good at choosing the reality that we can just manifest or materialize whatever, whenever. I guess when I—
I guess I would answer that from a joke that I've made about myself a number of times, that if I was born in the mid-1700s, I would have been burned at the stake for being a witch, right? Absolutely. It's crazy. Absolutely. It's when the, it's when the outer intention of the world agrees with your ultimate highest version of yourself and brings you into that place.
So just as I would have been, I would ask, I would ask, why would you have been, why would you have chosen to be born in that time and place as well? You see, because maybe you wanted the challenge of being burned at the stake. I'm pretty certain I died in the French— I mean, I'm pretty certain I died in the French Revolution in one of my lives. Funnily enough, I don't have a fear of the guillotine, but I certainly have that sense of aristocracy. I certainly have that sense of foppishness. That's still very— that energy is still really quite strong in me. But I also— and the mistrust of the madness of crowds because, oh, because La Terreur was pretty awful. And yet that's his— but I wanted to get back to this analogy of being in the library. So we didn't write the scripts. Again, God, for want of a better term, wrote all the scripts, and God has had an eternity to write all of the scripts, has had an eternity to make all of these. I mean, God, the ultimate screenwriter. So we enter into the great library, the great Akashic library of life scripts, and we say, "Okay, right now I'm still—" Okay, we flip the page, we've gone a little bit further, and Renee and Xavier are still talking, and they're having this conversation now about this, blah, blah, blah. It gets very meta. We will continue to read the scripts but we get better at choosing better scripts. We get better at going through the slush pile of scripts and saying, "You know what? The one where I suddenly have a stroke and die at the table before finishing the conversation, I don't think I'm going to have that one. Put that one aside. Okay. This one where they finish the conversation at some point and Xavier gets a phone call and say, 'Hey, you know, I want to offer you $20,000 to do this bit of writing, and I say, okay, I'll take that. The one where a whole bunch— your business, one of your 3 businesses, because I know what a multi-potentiates you are— is suddenly going to give you a whole new injection of capital, or even a great opportunity, or you meet somebody who's going to tell— who you might not like particularly very much, but something in you is going to say, you know, I don't like this person, but I'm going to stay keep some sort of relationship with them. And then 3 weeks later, they introduce you to somebody else who is absolutely marvelous. You see what I mean? Yes. All of these great things that can happen because in an infinite potentiality field, there are so many ways that these things can become about. The money thing is interesting because people think that the money is the path to so many things. But in reality, what it is is that It's one path. And if you just set a frame that says, "Okay, I'm going to live like this. I'm going to have a moment like this." Maybe you want to be married. And so you envisage a wedding ring on your finger like Neville Goddard talks about in our mutual acquaintance. Although I haven't met him yet. It'd be great if you could set up an introduction. What's that chap's name? What's his name? The fellow who does the— it'll come to me in a second. Who? Sorry?
What does he do? He does—
he has the Reality Revolution website. Oh, Brian Scott!
Brian Scott. Great stuff. You should— I'm going to connect you two and you should absolutely do one of these with Brian Scott. You guys would have a fascinating conversation. Conversation, and I think he would really enjoy it.
Yeah, I mean, he fascinates me as much as you fascinate me in terms of the content of what you do. And I'm thinking, you know what, between those two and what's going on in here, this is all really making sense. It's really gelling for me. It's really working for me. What I've— there is so big— in an infinite— with infinite possibilities, anything can happen. And I think people don't really give themselves that. They don't really give themselves the idea that, yes, anything can happen for you. And so it doesn't necessarily have to come through money. You might have a frame in which you are living in a particular way. Maybe you're having a moment in your beautiful house and you're just having a moment, like I had my moment with my backpack. That was just a moment. But in order for that moment to happen, a whole bunch of other things had to happen before then, right? Makes sense, yeah? So we get— when do we get into—
4 things had to happen. Yeah, exactly.
Whatever has happened, there was an arrangement. Like a narrative is just an arrangement of words and choices and thought choices put in a particular order. It doesn't matter. There are so many different paths to get there. You might be given money. You might be able to borrow a lot of money that you can pay back really quickly because you invest it really well in something that pays huge dividends and blah blah. You might inherit money. You might marry into money. You might find money. There are so many different paths. And that's just money. Yes. If you look at any frame that you envisage, any thing that happens. It could happen to you in so many different ways. That's when you go into outer intention. That's when we go back to the ocean and we say, let the ocean speak to you. Yes. One thing that people— no, one thing that people never really think about very much is, why did I have that particular thought now?
Yes, that's so true. Like me in a car with hitting the other— the hitting the other car.
Exactly. Why am I having that thought? Where do my thoughts come from? There are many possible answers to this. One of the answers might be your future self giving you that thought. It could be that you're generating from the field of potentiality and its interaction with where you're resonating and when you're vibrating right now. That, that thought is an emergent property of that. In physics, they talk about emergent properties of things that it doesn't make sense all separately, but when you put it all together, something happens that wouldn't have happened otherwise.
It's the first thing to come, really. It's the first thing to come. And, and, or the sensation's the first thing to come, and then a thought or something like that. And then you have the ability, the opportunity to either work with that or deny it? Or—
Yeah, the question of whether or not free will is involved is another hoary subject for another time. But assuming that there is such a thing as free will, and that we're not just waves on a great ocean that are just reacting to all the other waves on the ocean, which is another analogy, assuming that in fact we're more than just a wave, that we are surfers on the wave, and that we can intend things, At the level we're doing it, the dreams are sometimes very materialistic, sometimes very shallow. But I don't blame people if they have shallow materialistic dreams because that's where they're at and they need evidence. Right? They need evidence that this works. So okay, if you have a shallow materialistic dream, I'm all for you having your shallow materialistic dreams. But at a certain point you get tired of the shallow materialistic dreams and you want something more. You get tired of French fries and hamburgers. As great as a good hamburger and French fries are, there'll be some times when you'll want a really, really good steak. Not to offend the vegans out there. Or you want— you don't want to just eat mung bean sprouts all the time. There's a time when you'll have this really good baba ganoush or some wonderful mulligatawny made from lentils. The point I'm making is that As consciousness expands, one's ambition expands. And ambition is a great thing because it's again a manifestation of physis. Everything wants to get bigger. Everything wants to expand. Everything is trying in its own way to do that and to grow and optimize the growth experience. Which is what is so wonderful about being involved in this sort of thinking, in the embracing these modalities. Because it implies an answer to the alternative scripts which are all about drudgery and are all about small visions.
Yes, and that's this book, you know. I love—
I haven't read that. I've heard audio transmissions of it and I thought, I must get a hold of that at some point. But I actually prefer Tufti, what I've heard from Tufti, than Reality Transurfing. She, that persona, speaks to me more for some reason. I like the tone.
That's exactly what we're speaking of here about the narratives, right? I mean, the COVID says it all with the, you know, the film moving. I mean, this book can absolutely change everything about your life if you let it, and you become aware of the script, right? You're, you're, you're the one, you're the one that's in control if you decide you are, and you take the initiative to separate from the script, which most people don't want to do, or it's that same option to do.
Sure, it's that center space, which is a really difficult concept for people to grasp. Asked. But if they just think of the center space as the place in your— in the attitude that you form when you realize, wait a minute, I don't have to be caught up in my fantasies. I don't have to be caught up in other people's fantasies. I don't have to run with that unconsciously. The center space is merely— is simply conscious awareness of what it is that you're doing. That's all it is. Once you're consciously aware and you're not going into all automatic panic or automatic enthusiasm, getting riled up in somebody else's rah-rah evangelistic zeal. Yes, because that's— those are huge. Or getting wrapped up in somebody's agenda or in past generations. You get wrapped up in somebody's war and all of a sudden you realize that you're dead on a battlefield and you think, well, what was that? What happened to me there? And you're in the— and you're in another plane of existence wondering what the hell happened. And yes, hell did happen to you because you allowed yourself to get caught up in somebody else's madness.
Oh, I mean, this vortex, this is very, this is very clarifying to me of what I did wrong in my past and why I got myself into some very, very unfortunate situations. You know, I was, I was impressionable, if you want to say that, or I was naive, or I didn't understand my own power, my own strength. And I would get sucked into the vortex of other people's scripts, and I would wake up 5 years later and be like, oh, what the hell just happened to me? Now I got to spend a bunch of energy and time trying to get myself out, right?
And now the great thing, you can get yourself out. Yes. Yeah, you can. If you, if you, if you imagine it, if I call it imagineering because you're engineering your imagination. So if you imagineer yourself into a place, well, you can also imagineer yourself out of it. Absolutely. With awareness. With awareness. It's very similar to— I often teach people when I'm teaching writing to do what I call method writing, which is like method acting. Except that instead of acting, you're writing. So you get— you take on the point of view of a character and you say, well, what would the character do in that situation? How would they think? How would they feel? What is their agenda? What do they want? What's stopping them from getting it? And what is the impetus for them to pursue that? If you understand that there are all of these things that— but sometimes you can get so caught up in the role that you're playing that you forget that you're playing a role.
Oh, absolutely, yes. And that, and that, yes, or that you've gotten caught up in somebody else's script.
Exactly, because you then, you're, then you're a bit, then you become a bit player in someone else's psychodrama. There's nothing stopping you from just saying, yeah, yeah, oh, you've been there, oh, I can tell you've been there, right? Bit player in somebody else's psychodrama. So what you then do is you say, wait a minute, I'm a bit player in somebody else's psychodrama. Why don't I get beyond this and become aware of what I'm actually doing and then make things happen for myself?
Yes. Now I involve others in my psychodrama.
Yes, which hopefully is a positive one where you're actually helping people to live better versions of themselves and picking better scripts.
Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. The whole thing is spiraling upward rather than One would hope.
Yes, one would hope.
One lives with that expectation. Yes. Well, Xavier, we have to do this again. Okay. I'm curious if somebody has made it to the end. Is anybody out there?
Well, I'm certain that the people who have followed us to the end needed to follow us to the end. If we bored somebody else, it's simply because we haven't resonated at their frequency. And that's, that's okay too. I'm not going to take it personally. If you're not ready for— if you're not ready to listen to this conversation, wait until you're aligned with it.
Hey, exactly. But I want to, I want to actually do a proper interview with you because I didn't get to any of your book questions, and I want to know more about your writing.
So would you allow me to invite you back for another I will be generous enough to allow you to invite me back to ask me whatever you like about whatever you want. And if you want to do a proper radio— proper interview, feel free to just write out all the questions beforehand and we can go through it one by one. And of course, if anybody who's watching this has any questions that they'd like to ask as a result of anything that Renée and I have discussed, by all means, feel free. I'm sure Renee would love your energetic contribution.
Yes, you're getting it, you're getting it. It's all about, it's all about getting people to energetically contribute.
That's right. Give us your vibes, babies. Yeah, give us that wave, like, mm-hmm, I'm feeling it. Oh yeah, I can taste it, I can taste it.
Yes, you can taste that variation of reality. Well, this was a lot of fun. Yes, everyone— Pick your way through the library. Yes. Everyone that's still listening, any questions you have, Xavier and I would love to answer them. And if you have any questions for Xavier, I mean, I feel like, I feel like you should be, you should be Transurfing TV. You should start doing some videos.
No, no, it's your thing. I'm quite happy to get sucked into your pendulum to any extent because so far it's been a really positive experience. All right, let's make this synergy work.
Okay, well, I will definitely, I will definitely have you back. I appreciate your time, and I'm going to connect you with Brian Scott because I think Brian Scott would love to, um, would love to do this as well with you. You are, you are fantastic to talk to. You are like—
and so, and so are you. I'm so glad that we managed to get connected, that our intentions have aligned and everything has come out so beautifully. This has been a very positive experience for me. Thank you.
Yes, yes, likewise, likewise. And I'm going to come to Australia soon, actually. I have some other business in Australia that I need to attend to for my other business in Sydney. So maybe— hey, let's do lunch. Exactly. We could do, we could do, we could do a live YouTube lunch and just blow people's minds. All right, Xavier, well, thank you so much for, um, doing this with me, and I appreciate your energetic contribution onto my channel so much. I, I really appreciate your—
the opportunity for you to create an empty vessel that I can fill with my energetic contribution. Wow.
Well, I, I hope that you continue It'll be, it'll be a sad day when you move on and I realize that Xavier is no longer energetically contributing. I appreciate, I appreciate you. I appreciate your comments and I look forward to doing this again.
So, oh yes, I owe you a couple of comments for the videos that you do. The reason I do them is because I, it's my way of paying you for them. That's how I appreciate that. I think, okay. And I, and people have started replying to my comments as well. And I thought that's an interesting twist. I don't know what to do with that. But hey, let's keep the conversation going. If we help only one person as a result of what we're doing, then our lives have become so much more meaningful.
Don't you think? Absolutely. Yes. I actually, that's, that's it. That's how I continue with Transurfing TV. Is I say to myself, if one person is watching, I'm going to continue to do it. So maybe you'll be that one.
Hey, that one person! Hi, one person! We're speaking to you and for you.
Yeah, exactly. I'm doing— somebody commented the other day, they said, I feel like you're just speaking to me. I'm like, oh, we are.
We so are. Just for you.
Well, thank you so much, Xavier. Have a good day, and I will let you know, actually, if you would like to send this out into the world in any way, I'll send you the link beforehand, and I don't know, maybe some of your book fans can watch your interview.
I'm not techno-competent enough yet to start my own YouTube channel. I'm sure it's very easy. I haven't done it yet. Anyone can do it. Anyone can do it. I'll work it out. I'll work it out. Somehow I'll work it out. Yes. If not, I'll just call you and say, "How do I do this?" Learn as you go.
Learn as you go. All right, Xavier, have a good day and may the Force be with you. Oh, yes.
